Easy to install and set, works just as advertised
This is a really nice, easy to install/setup, auto timer fan switch. I really like this switch for the guest bathroom/kids bathroom. Once I finally got them to start turning the fan on consistently when showering... they'd just turn it on and leave it on all the time... This switch is a great option of you don't want a continuous run choice (which I didn't). It's decent quality and the timer setting is a small dial located behind the faceplate so easily accessible without being too easily changed or overridden.I've had it installed for a few weeks now and it's working exactly as I'd hoped.

Exhaust Fan Now Has A Timer!
This switch works great. It was easy to install. Now my bathroom's exhaust fan has a timer. Just press the desired length of time and forget about it.

Provide Your Own Grounding Wire
Unit still provides reliable service after several months of use.You must provide either bare copper or insulated wire for ground wire. (Since standard ground wire is coded green - I use either bare copper or green tape around black or white scraps of disassembled common Romex electric cable to maintain wire coding convention).

So far, so good!
So far, all 4 timers I purchased have been working flawlessly. I've only had them a few months, though, so I cannot speak to longevity. One thing I wish they did was have the LED change as the timer runs down. By that I mean that if I push the button to select one hour, the LED in that button stays on until the hour has passed and the fan/light goes off. I would like it if the one hour LED would extinguish after 15 minutes and the 45 minute LED would illuminate. That way, it acts as a sort of visual countdown timer.Other than that little thing, I'm very happy with the timers. I installed them to control the bathroom fans in our home.

Great timer switch for bathroom vent
I bought a few of these to replace some other timer switches that had always-on bright blue lights. I like these because they have lots of time option buttons and there are no lights except when the switch is on. They were easy enough to install and I liked that they had a screw for the ground instead of an extra wire, because I've already got enough wires and wire nuts in my boxes. Note that if your switch box is already crammed, this will add some bulk over a regular switch because it has a big box on the back of it. Otherwise it's a pretty standard size for timer switches. My friend put some of these in awhile back and they seem to be lasting well.

Good and relatively inexpensive upgrade for a bathroom
I wanted to reduce the amount of mildew and mold growing in the bathroom so I started looking at ways to ensure the exhaust fan runs long enough to pull all the moisture from the air but not stay on all day.I looked at switches and fans with the humidity sensors but read and heard too many complaints about them not being very reliable. Considering how humidity levels in the house can vary quite a bit based on the time of year, I decided not to go this route.Instead, I decided to try a simple approach - use a timer. I spoke a couple contractors in my family about it and the consensus was running a fan for 30 minutes at the start of a shower is usually about right. This switch includes a 30 minute interval but provides a number of other times to accommodate other uses. The installation was no different than most other switches I've ever installed. You'll need a neutral for this switch to work. That wasn't an issue for me.I installed this in our master bath shower area and I've been thrilled with the results. Now my wife and I hit 30 minutes as we get into the shower and let the timer run through. So far I have no complaints at all. I plan on eventually installing two more of these in our other bathrooms.Update:The first timer is still working great a few years later. I have ordered and installed two additional timers for our other bathrooms. I found a new reason to use a timer for bathroom fans - kids! They often leave the fans on which seems like a big waste in winter and summer. No complaints and recommend.

Great value!
I bought the 4-pk since we have 4 bathroom fans in our new-to-us home. Our neutral wires (required for installation) were shoved all the way in the back of our light switch boxes, so we didn't think we had them at first. Once we found them and pulled them forward, installation was easy. I will say that in one location we had 4 toggle switches on the same wall plate. Once we replaced the old fan toggle switch for this "rectangular" style (and moved it to the end to fit the new cover plate which I also ordered off Amazon--one with 3 toggle switch openings plus 1 rectangular opening), getting all the wires shoved back in the box was a challenge. This product does take up more room.
