This should be a five star review because Winsor & Newton make decent brushes and in that sense, the order is fine. However, the packaging from Amazon was not good. The brush was packed loose in a bubble wrap bag with nothing to keep the bristles from crushing. Now I have to try to straighten them before my class tonight.

As others have said, they should really ship these with some plastic protectors to keep the shape of the brush. Also, I'm not a painter by trade so I haven't been able to decipher the variability in brush sizes. The ones that claim to be size 4 are quite a bit larger than the size 4 I have of a different brand I got from Hobby Lobby. Even size 1 is larger than that size 4.

Good for what I need

Horrible quality that brush shouldn’t be 23 dollars theres so much better ones and this seller taking the honer from the real premium brushes out there with this brand name. Bad metal crimp is not tight, frizzles falls into your panting, the hairs on the brush its self it’s horrible this is the main reason im giving it a negative review. I used the brush ones the hairs already showing sign of a 3 year old brush thats used every day. I take care of my brushes but this i cant you wont be able clean it properly with out sacrificing frizzles bending like a old tooth brush that used to clean grease off of the engine compartment.. after it dries. Just dont buy its not worth it that price is too high. It should be a low budget brush for 5 bucks.

Winsor and Newton is the best quality brushes for full bodies oil paints. I'm a professional painter and I've tried and tested many, natural bristles are best and filberts are multifunctional for geometric lines and soft brush strokes.

Los pelos o cerdas están mal centradas, además con el primer uso y ya se salen pelos. Pensava que está marca y por el precio era de más calidad.

Hairs come off as soon as opened.

If you force people to do written reviews instead of just an overall rating and short headline (which is more than adequate for most things) then people will just stop leaving reviews all together.
