BSN Medical Fixomull Stretch 10m X 5 cm

I am a relatively long distance walker typically walking anywhere between 10 and 40 miles per day on mixed terrain when on a hiking trip/day out. I have always been plagued with recurring blisters on the bottom of the two toes next to the little toe and also on the pads of my feet. I can also get uncomfortable rub/hot spots on other areas of my feet depending on the type of walking i'm doing. I have experimented with differnt wool blend socks but nothing seemed to help. Then I saw a vid on youtube showing how to pre-tape blister-prone areas using Fixomull stretch tape. May sound obvious to some, but i'd literally never even considered it fearing that the added layer would actually contribute to blistering rather than prevent it. I have waited before leaving a review but can now confirm that this tape seems to have completely solved the problem. Recently completed some tough walks - 50 miles over 2 days and a couple of 19 milers in mixed weather and undulating often rocky ground and I didn't even have a hint of a blister. This not only drastically improves comforts levels but also significantly increases my maximum range in a day. Simply cut to size and apply tape where needed (plenty of resources online to show how). Remove at the end of each day and apply fresh each morning and stick with your normal foot care/rest routine. Very thin, very lightweight so can be added to your pack with no concern. So pleased I got this, very impressed.
