Excellent musicianship
I saw the Baker Gurvitz Army live in the mid 70s. St the time I thought that, other than Ginger Baker's excellent, but inconsistent, drumming it was one of the worst concerts I had ever been to.In fact I listened to this album because I couldn't believe that they could have been as bad as I thought. What a revelation, this is a superb album and the other additions to their catalogue are equally fine... I have no idea what they were doing when I saw them in the 70s....

overlooked classic from Seventies
Classic album, great performances and songs, Ginger Baker was never better and this album has the best songs from the Baker Gurvitz army. This is an underrated Prog rock classic with two excellent live tracks as bonuses.

My friend loved it but sadly not my thing.

Ginger Baker. Always good for a laugh and a discussion
The musicianship is excellent but a bit polished for my mind. Still I am glad I have it. If it is Ginger you are really after then his drumming is excellent on Africa 70.
