Very impressive! But the app to control it is hot garbage.
It's absolutely AMAZING; as a mop. As a vacuum, the tiny collection chamber fills up FAST, and I've been spoiled by my Roomba i7, so I really can't recommend this product for it's vacuuming abilities at all, when there are FAR better, and cheaper, options. It's quite quiet, but where it really shines (pun intended) is as a mop. I work outside, and tend to track in a lot of red Georgia clay, the bane to every glorified swiffer-style robotic "mop". I have a Braava m6, and I use it AFTER the Narwal, mainly because I feel like I wasted my money on the Braava now that I have the Narwal, and just want to give it some sort of purpose in life.It really does scrub and cleans better than any robotic mop I've ever owned, including the discontinued iRobot "Scooba". It gets edges very well, but of course can't quite manage corners, but it's a small price to pay for a robot that ACTUALLY mops, getting messes that other robots just smear across the floor, and all you have to do is change out the water tanks and occasionally clean out the little tray it uses to clean itself! It even hops thresholds that frighten my poor Braava too much to cross. I can't recommend this robot enough. The app, though...The app is garbage, and will sometimes lose connection with the robot for no reason, and no amount of router fiddling, Narwal resetting, or app reinstalling will solve it. Just set the phone down, try again in 12 hours, and it will be connected again. When it does work, it allows you to customize zones, which means I can tell it to clean everything normally, but give the area in front of the door an extra scrubbing to deal with any mud I might have tracked in. The saving grace though, is that you don't NEED the app, it's more of an added layer of convenience. You can get the robot working away just fine using the buttons on the home station, and a few well placed magnetic strips. That's the only other "ding" I have against the Narwal, is there is no "lighthouse" or invisible barrier device that you can use. The only way to create "no go zones" without the app, is having to lay magnetic strips across your floor. I personally don't even notice them, but it's still a pretty inelegant solution. I will note that for the past 2 weeks, the app has been functioning just fine, so my bad experience may have been a glitch in the app that has since been fixed.Overall, it's really not a great vacuum, but it's far and away a GREAT mop, and for that, I can't recommend this enough, despite my quibbles.

App downfall and Narwal does not stand behind their product
Updated on May 9, 2023.Run away, do not buy a Narwal product. I purchased a t10 one year ago in March, it started giving me problems and customer service just skated the issue. I change the dust bin every time it vacuums. Now it shuts down giving me a motor error. $1200 down the tube. Buy Shark they work great. Shark is very dependable and clean very well. Shark also empties it own dust bin, no dust bags either.Shark has a great app, not Narwal. I have had nothing but problems, at first the app and now I am getting a motor error.Buy Shark.Do not buy the Narwal products because they do not stand behind them, Sharks are very dependable, clean well and you can buy 5 Shark vacuums for one Narwal. I hope Shark does not see this and raise their prices. That’s right zero stars, too expensive and does not last.Do not buy these, the frustration is not worth it.$1200 waisted.Do not buy, it’s not worth it.Run away fast.Updated May 14, 2023,If you do not take my word for it, look at all of the other poor reviews. Narwal customer service is nice but not helpful at all.I started having problems with the robot within having it for about two months. I thought it was just me, I did not read the reviews. Now, after reading many reviews, the problems are very common. At six months or so, the robot disconnected from our Wi-Fi and stopped working. Then would stop during a session and would not reconnect. I have to include to connect to Wi-Fi is very difficult. Now, sometimes the robot works great, then shuts down showing a motor error, then dust bin full, or it just disconnects from Wi-Fi. Again, I thought it was just me, until I read the reviews.Take our word for it run away for your own good, my shark robot is amazing. I have no personal interest in Shark, just speaking the truth.Sorry Narwal but the truth hurts.Updated July 2, 2023, I finally got Narwal to fix the robot. I sent it in and they fixed it for free. When they sent it back they did not have the vacuum module, it took about a week and half to get Narwal to send back the vacuum module. My intention was to delete my bad review once I got my robot backed. However, to get the robot and base station to connect to my Wi-Fi then to program vacuum times, I reconsidered removing my post. Just to connect using the app is extremely frustrating because it is far from user friendly.Yep buy Shark, if this robot worked all of the time I would buy another one but to deal with their customer service and the app, no way.
