This is super good curry paste, the best one on the market, a real gem.It's very healthy, top quality ingredients, all natural, no unwanted additives,and it makes the best curry sauce possible, it's very healing to the body as welland it's so concentrated, one tub lasts forever, over a year.I love this stuff, both the red and green curry. If you make a pot of chicken currywith this paste, it will be as good as anything from your favorite restaurant.

Purchased Dec 2024 - expires 2026 - great!
I like that this Dec 2024 purchase of Panang Curry Paste arrived with a June 2026 expiration date. That was a relief, since some reviews pointed out a much too soon expiration date on a new purchase.EDIT after using: (I found that the spice level is not as high as it was a few years ago. Maybe it's just the batch I received that is not as spicy, but the flavor is still great.)I've used this product for several years and find it is the very best way to make fast Thai dishes that taste like they came from a restaurant. Turn your rotisserie chicken leftovers into a curry or soup!It's spicy, so use sparingly and add to taste, knowing coconut milk tames the heat.Cooking tip to replace lemongrass in recipes is to substitute lemon and lime zest, and use some lemon and lime juice in the recipe, to taste. It's really worth the effort to uses fresh ginger since it takes any recipe to the next level.

I stopped buying curry at the store
Cheaper than most grocery store options and packs quite a bit of flavor and heat. Very easy to use and I store it for quite some time in the fridge. My go-to for panang curry.

Fresh and tasty, but a little too spicy for YELLOW curry
I love Thai curries, but much of the stuff available at my local supermarket is rather bland. I decided to try this curry paste and found it to produce much better flavor. Plus, it’s so easy to use! One thing to note - this yellow curry is pretty spicy. Fortunately, I can control that to some degree (yes, the pun was intentional), by using less paste in my recipes. I bought two tubs, and each show an expiration date that is 18 months away - nice!

Authentic and delicious
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is the exact red curry paste I used to buy at the enormous Kam Man market in Quincy Ma. Have used it twice to make Thai coconut red curry chicken, which requires 3 Tbsp, and as a heat addition to Asian marinades. Excellent value for the money. Lasts forever in the fridge.

I currently live in Mexico where Thai food is hard to come by, and this paste has been a total lifesaver. It tastes just like the yellow curry I used to get back home—rich, aromatic, and deeply flavorful.It’s incredibly easy to prepare, even on busy nights. I typically sauté the paste first to really bring out the fragrance, then add my milk of choice. If I want something rich and traditional, I’ll go with coconut milk, but I’ve also used regular milk to lighten it up and it still turns out delicious.My go-to combo is potatoes, carrots, and onions—it’s simple but so satisfying.
