They are a good serving size for medium to large dogs; I would break them in half for a smaller dog. They are crunchy, which my dogs like, but not too hard. The smell is somewhat strong, because it is dried fish after all, but it doesn't seem to linger on their breath very long or at all elsewhere. My dogs love the Polka Dog brand cod skins too, but they are a little longer (have to break them in half for my dogs, and are a bit more expensive. Also Polka Dog is Atlantic Cod and Simply Wild is Pacific Cod...if that matters at all. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ bad.
