I got spoiled, picked up an expensive Cambridge notebook at a Target years ago because I like the feel of the cover and pages and I got hooked. Being left-handed, spiral notebooks are a challenge but these are thin enough to lay flat and the spiral doesn’t get in the way. Pages are smooth for writing. I love a bold pen and am a heavy-handed writer. Sharpie doesn’t bleed through although you can see it from the other side. I really like these smaller ones that are easy to pop into my laptop bag and carry around a warehouse making notes. Most of my job is on a computer, but I always have a notebook handy to scribble down things which helps me commit them to memory. This purple one has that soft velvety feel cover I like most and I like the color. I also buy the larger letter size black one that is nice but boring. There’s a cheaper teal one the same size as this purple one I also get but that cover is a bit more plastic feeling. Extremely sturdy - covers never fall off and pages don’t rip out. I go through so many of these notebooks that I finally started dating the covers so I can know at least what time of year it was from if I go back to find a note. I have been using Cambridge notebooks i’m mixed exclusively for the last five years, and I am hugely disappointed if I have to grab something else in a pinch. We live in a small town so it’s not like I can just go to the store and get a nice notebook - we are lucky if we have a 5 Star option but usually it’s those cheap paper cover notebooks. I have finally started stocking up and bought some extras, but unfortunately, with recent projects, I am going through them like crazy. I probably haven’t bought 100 Cambridge notebooks, but it has to have cleared 50. This one isn’t the cheapest I buy here, but it’s much better than buying it out at a store and it’s still cheaper than some of the other options here - this one is my splurge because the size, velvety cover, and color hit just right.

Love these notebooks, have been buying them for years. Cambridge quality, smooth paper, perforated paper for easy tear out, sturdy covers, I’ve never had a problem with the spiral binders. Perfect weight, smooth paper.

This gorgeous little notebook is my new happy place, the color is so pretty. The quality of the cover is outstanding, did arrive with some slight “smudges” on the cover but a damp paper towel wiped it right away. Only thing is I wish it had more than 80 pages. Perfect size, I like that the pages are perforated. Would buy again! I want a planner with this same cover material. So I’m on the hunt for that now!

Sturdiness, durability, and thickness? Those are the only rating options? I love the color of the deep plum with gold wire binding! I needed some more journals for work and these fit the bill nicely. My one complaint: the covers were already marred with something right out of the box. I ordered three and all three of them had damage to the finish on the covers, front and back. It’s a matte finish and extremely susceptible to marring on the surface so no doubt I would have smudged something on it myself eventually, but I expect my brand new product to arrive in pristine condition. Put a full coverage sticker on each cover or shrink wrap the journal immediately but sending a product that’s been messed up in handling at the plant just ruins the effect.

I got hooked on these notebooks for meetings. The smaller size is even better, but they are made so high quality, the pages always turn the coil doesn’t break away, causing you to lose pages. They hold up very well to refer back to you.

I keep a lot of notes because I'm very forgetful and these have been wonderful to have. Ideal size and quality for me. It's just beautiful and the cover is so soft and smooth. I will be ordering more.

I thought they were hard covered and I didn't know there were 4. I guess I should read better, but they serve there purpose. They have a nice cover. I haven't used them yet so I can't comment on the text of the paper.

Love love LOVE this notebook!! The cover is gorgeous and just looks and feels luxurious. This is a must have for sure!

I like the size of this book and the colour but that is about it. It was supposed to have a thicker/hard cover which it does not and ink bleeds through the pages. I am using a regular Paper Mate Inkjoy ballpoint pen, and the writing bleeds through so I can only write on one side of the page.
