This is a wonderful teaching tool. Just get a lighter duty dry erase marker and soft dry erase eraser, and math becomes fun. They are very heavy-duty and very large. **Q: What is the largest equation? Or does it stop at the 12's?** A: There are no equations. It is a dry erase board. You fill in the equations yourself. You can write anything you want, limited only by how small you can write! :) **Q: Where can I find a list of fact families to write in the corners?** A: There is no set list but the numbers in the lower corners are usually within 10 for adding and within 12 for multiplying. Pick any two numbers you want them to practice adding/subtracting or multiplying/dividing. The total or product goes in the yellow corner at the top. **Q: I have a learning disability in math. do these have instructions? Can someone explain how you know what numbers go in the corners?** A: No instructions but you can search 'Fact Families' for ideas. I use these with Three-Corner Flash Cards: Addition and Subtraction . My seven year old daughter chooses a flash card and fills in the numbers on the board. Great independent and self-checking practice. We are using these to keep fresh on math facts over the summer. I also bought the T-1671 Multiplication and Division Three-Corner® Flash Cards to use with the other side of the board when she grows into that. The boards erase cleanly and are sturdy.
