Is there a way to attach a tether

Please don't tether, it can damage the device, your boat, or the occupants. It does float, but if you are worried about losing it there are small holes at the back of the unit to tie a string to a buoy or something to help you locate it if it comes off.

We dont recommend surfing behind outdrives unless they have a reverse drive (prop on front side of lower unit)
