My knives are razor sharp!
I received my Razor Sharp Edgmaking System from the seller in a timely manner. After inspecting the two wheels, I found a 1 1/2" x 1/8" paper bulge near the edge of the compressed paper wheel. The bulge appeared as if the wheel had been stored in a damp or wet area. The bulge was dry hard, not soft or de-laminated in any way. I took a hammer and lightly tapped down the bulge, then I took sand paper and lightly removed just a little bit more of the bulge. You can still feel the deformity but it doesn't seem to affect the balance of the wheel in anyway. However, I didn't expect a deformity in a new wheel considering the positive reviews and price of the Razor Sharp Edgmaking System. That being said, I followed the directions included with the wheels and watched a few you-tube videos. I was able to sharpen my kitchen knives to an almost razors edge in relatively little time. Testing the edge of each knife I was able to shave the hair off my arm. That's sharp. Since sharpening my kitchen knives, I've been using a ceramic honing rod to maintain the edge. Seems to be a near perfect solution to keeping dull knives sharp.

It works for sure but.....
So the one you use to remove the bur is great but the grit one is a pain to be honest. To much work to have to keep putting grit back on it after sharpening 3-5 knifes. I'd suggest the one without grit for removing burs and suggest a cbn wheel for grit wheel because they last and you dont have to regrit until the wheel is done for. If you dont mine trying to get the grit right which I failed at its not to bad. It definitely works.

Out of balance
The wheels were so out of balance I can’t use them. The instructions told how to balance them. With the price I paid they should be balanced.
