Latest replacement for a Redmi Note 9s.
As powerful as my earlier Redmi Note 9s that stopped handling mobile data, I love the excellent thumb-print sensor built in to the ON/OFF button. It's marginally smaller than it's predecessor.I always worried slightly about the solid glass back of the previous phone (Lovely though it looked) and it's obviously slightly lighter in weight. It's a pity that there isn't a dedicated 3.5mm dia earphones socket, but it's easy to buy Bluetooth replacements nowadays.

Really pleased
This phone is going well. Change over was fairly easy. Only difficulty is marrying with Huawei watch. It charges rapidly and lasts. Easy to use for someone not techy. Camera is good and fingerprint better than my old Screen good too.

Flagship phone for 1/3 the price
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0931ZG694I got this. I don't know why the URL has changed, but it's the same phone as far as I can tell. I've been using it since Nov 2021. Please note I have no idea if this seller is any good! I'm only here to review the phone model. This is the best phone I've ever used. I used to use Samsung flagships and honestly this phone is like a flagship for 1/3 the price. It's the most lightweight high-end phone currently available which to me at least automatically makes any other modern phone a no-go. Regardless of price, I'd reject Samsung, LG, Pixel, Apple, purely because their phones are insanely heavy, some flagships are 230g!!!Battery is very good, fast charging is ... fast. Ignore the review about battery degradation. Poor guy probably got a phone with a faulty battery. My battery is fine, still going strong after 6+ months.Everything else... just works. The MI Apps from Xiaomi are a tad annoying as I don't want to use any of their own apps, but they're generally easy enough to go around using other apps from the playstore. To save you time, this is the best case:https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B09J17ZY74

Battery lost 10% capacity within the first week.
This is a very poor phone!Firstly, it runs hot and I'm getting 8hrs screen time watching movies, and a days use. Downloading, Amazon, Google gives me approx 3-6hrs life. The main problem is the battery. I ran accubattery and charged through a usb monitor and on day one the battery was at 95% capacity. 2 charges ago it was at 93% 3950mah and today it's at 90% 3800mah. Every simply time you charge this, you will lose about 1% battery capacity, which means, because the phone will need charging everyday, you will see significant loss with in weeks. I expect by the end of next week, I will be down to 85%My realme 7 pro lost 60% over 18 months but only needed charging every 2-3 days and still outlasts the xiaomi mi 11 lite 5g by a lot. I have compared both and playing Netflix full brightness got me 8hrs on the xioami and 10hrs on my realme with degraded battery. My huawei mate pro 10 has lost 30% over 3 years and my partner charges it to 100% every night. The xioami simply has the worst battery I have ever used. Add that to it often not connecting to my network when out and having to format 3 times now as things like being able to attach photos to emails, have happened leaves me really doubting xioami as a company. The phone is nice to use, but if you buy, check the degradation of the battery! You will be shocked.
