An Excellent Movie.
Erin Krakow and Tyler Hynes are terrific in this movie. Great story, excellent production, and a great supporting cast is why I gave this 5 Stars. Do not hesitate to watch this 2021 Gem of a movie.

Such a fun movie!
Honestly I barely tolerate hallmark films when my family watches them because I find them so cheesy, predictable, silly, and annoying. But this one is different, yes it’s still predictable, but that does not take away from the joy of the film.I laughed out loud multiple times, quote lines from it often, and I absolutely love the hero’s (main romantic character) personality! It’s definitely not an enduring film like Pride and Prejudice or other great classic films, but it’s still worth a watch (or two😉)

Lots of gems
It’s a typical Hallmark movie with a twist. There is so much to notice in this movie if you watch it over and over again. I can’t get enough of that gorgeous house! It seemed to change colors in every scene. I loved the nerdy performances, the beautiful dog, Tyler’s allergy stunt, the “bad acting” references, the server’s performance at the oyster bar, the cinematography that tells a story in itself (especially the scene panning up and over the house just before the storm)… there are just a lot of things to love about this movie in addition to the chemistry between the leads and the plot twist. I loved the grandmother’s performances and look forward to seeing her in different movies - this is the second one I’ve seen where she is pretty funny. I think my favorite scene was near the beginning when the dog “greeted” George. I even loved the LeAnn Rimes song that I disliked when it first came out. All the supporting characters had some little shtick that was fun to watch. It’s the ending of the movie that makes it all come together, so if you pay attention all the way through, you’ll see the magic of the movie.I liked it because I can relate to a lot of the elements in it: the careers, the uptight characters, the childhood relationships, the dog, the water, the oyster bar, the house, the treehouse, the flowers and plants - so many things made it familiar. I think I’m going to remodel my house to look like the one in the movie and name my next dog Tillie.
