A Bar Above Bell Jigger - Premium Vintage Double Cocktail Jigger, 1oz/2oz made from Stainless Steel 304

I bought this several months ago and held off on writing a review until now. I like the heft, the design and the level markings. Some have complained about the markings not indicating the amount saying they need to keep the pamphlet nearby. Considering how close the lines are on the large size, this would be difficult to do. However, all you need to remember is that when full, the large side holds 2 oz and the small size 1 oz. Then each marking line indicates a drop of 1/4 oz. Some have indicated that it's not accurate. I very carefully compared it to a cylindrical measuring device I have and found it to be pretty close, i.e. less than 1/8 of an ounce off. Good enough for bar tending.

Exactly what I was expecting. Just don’t lose the reference card for measurements. There are only lines, no measurements noted on the inside.

I really like this jigger. It is is solidly made - one hefty piece of metal so it is very stable. It also has all of the markings I want on it - every quarter ounce from 1/4 to 1 on one side, and from 1 to 2 on the other side, plus a marking for a bar spoon, which is useful.

Being a bartender myself, I found this jigger to be top notch! The size, the weight, the shape, the feel... it’s what I love about it. It’s very comfortable to hold and thru your fingers. My favorite I’ve every used in 10+ years being in the industry. I love it being a 1oz/2oz size as well. However I recently just read in some comments that the inner line markings aren’t accurate, however I haven’t needed to use it for smaller pours yet, but either way not a huge concern for me as I’ve learned and most of the time free pour when making drinks. Except for a couple of my favorites I always use a jigger for, such as a Negroni. I’m pretty good at eyeing for ½ and ¼ pours in the 1oz side of the jigger also. This is just a real nice quality feeling bar tool. Again I especially give it two thumbs up for the weight and shape of it. Fits very well in your fingers. I’d say give it a try and if not, you have 30 days to return it. That’s the beauty of Prime.
