Worth it, time saver
Worked much better than expected. Had a lot of little windows to paint around. With a sharp (sharp is a must) blade to cut around the edges it peals right off the glass. Would not recommend for Plexiglass (plastic) windows. For glass only. This isn't a great picture, it was first one I did. The blade wasn't sharp so edge wasn't as clear as it could have been. I bought new blades to use on the rest of them, i just didn't take anymore pictures. Paint this on overlapping the part you are going to paint. Trim around the edge then peel off what is on the glass and any pant that overlapped onto this film. You chan clean paint off glass in other ways, but with my hands shaking I chose this method.

Excellent product
Absolutely love this product! I use it all the time when painting windows, anything with glass. I've used it when I refinished a bookcase that had glass doors. Works wonderfully. I love that it also functions as a primer so I don't have to worry if it gets on the edges of what I'm painting.

Works well, follow the directions.
Works well, follow the directions about applying a liberal coat. Seems to work well as a primer on the unpainted wood. Real time saver although the trimming and removal of the film takes a bit of time the results are well worth it.

ASMR trigger.
I recently used the JASCO Liquid Mask & Peel for a project on my windows, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked. It comes in a 1-quart container, which is plenty for small to medium-sized jobs. Applying it was a breeze. The liquid goes on smoothly and dries fairly quickly. I loved that I didn’t have to worry about traditional tape tearing or damaging the surfaces because it creates a solid barrier that you can peel off later. Once it dried, I felt confident that it was going to keep my edges clean while I worked. When the time came to remove the mask, it peeled away easily without leaving any residue behind, which was such a relief. It really saved me from the hassle of trying to remove tape or clean up any mess afterward. Overall, I found it to be a simple yet effective solution for my painting project. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for an easy way to protect surfaces while they work.

A must-have for painting window sash!
This is the stuff to use for painting window sash. Forget using tape, paint will crawl under tape and may pull paint off. anyway. Just paint this on the glass with a narrow brush, putting on a thick layer about an inch wide. It's okay to get some on the wooden mullions or sash bars. After you prime and paint the sash and it is dry, use a utility knife to cut along the side of the wood, at a right angle to the glass, getting into the corners. Then, using a razor blade scraper, peel off the masking. Most will come off in large sheets, but you will need the blade to lift it in some areas and out of the corners. The result is a perfect, crisp paint line at the glass.

Don't waste your money
Overpriced, horrible to remove, probably at least doubled if not tripled the amount of work it takes to apply and remove it compared to masking. I will I just used painters tape next time. It's already took hours to remove and I still have hours left to get rid of the rest of this film. I will need to repaint some of the window frames because it took paint off with it. What a horrible product.

trim painting windows was never this easy before. Love the product.
This absolutely one of the best product I have ever used. You have to follow the directions specifically to have it work the way the product should. Other people who did not like the product, I am sure did not follow the directions correctly. Since I had the time, I put on three coats around the windows where I was painted and I let each coat dry at least 8 to 10 hours between coats. I know you don't have to wait this long or do a many coats but the wait was well worth it making the trim work with no problems looks very professional

Works with 2 thick coats and comes off easy
I had a round glass top to cover so I could spray the black wrought iron. This works great, but you definitely need to have 2 thick coats applied and be sure first coat is dry before apply next thick coat. I skimped in some areas and had to use a razor blade to get the stuff off, but overall am happy with product except container arrived cracked, so I had to use duct tape so product didn't leak out.

This works perfectly if you follow the directions. Those with poor reviews did not apply it correctly. You need to put it on thick, if not it will not peel off and you will be left needing to scrape it off and will be much more difficult than just letting your paint get on the glass and scraping it. You are supposed to get some of it on the frame as well so it completely seals, you can paint over what got on the frame just fine. Once scored with a knife you can then peel it off the glass. It leaves a very clean edge. One tip, although you want to apply it thick don't leave blobs of it right where the glass meets the frame as it will dry with that blob there and after painting when you score you will likely score off the blob which has the paint and therefore will expose the previous finish. You can see one of these blobs in the corner of the middle pane of glass in the attached picture. Just make sure to pull back that blob from the edge without making it to thin and you will be fine. Foam brush worked well to apply.

Used this product to be able to paint the frame of an old mirror. It made it so easy. I’m looking for other projects to use it on now.

This masking liquid make painting window sashes much easier and leaves clean lines. You need 2 coats of the product. Let the first coat dry and apply the second. Allow several hours to 2 weeks to remove, weather dependent. Use sharp utility knife to cut the edge and a razor paint scraper to start the peeling process. It is time intensive to paint window trim. This saves time, but it still takes a while. Great results though.

Bought this to use when doing our doors with 21 separate window panes each. Multiply that by 4 doors, both sides - this was a life saver. Works great and saved tons of time. Pack it on and let dry to clear - paint away then peel it off. Such a breeze.
