FBIDCT Weapon Shield Maintenance Kit - 1oz

Purchased this product several months ago after watching the Steel Shield series of test videos on YouTube. As a lifelong hunter, shooter and current LE Sniper I've tried most of the gun care products on the market such as Rand CLP, Remoil, Frog Lube, Slip 2000 etc. I can honestly say this this is the best of the bunch and the only series of products that will be going on my weapons from now on both personally owned and work related. I've found that the best method for achieving peak performance with this product is to full degrease your weapon before applying the Weapon Shield to condition the metal the utilize the grease on any surfaces where there is metal on metal contact. Doing so will not only make your firearm run and feel significantly smoother but it will also rust proof the surfaces and will make future cleanings far quicker and easier. I especially like the grease on the bold carrier and chambers of AR 15 / AR 10 rifles. You can literally fire hundreds after rounds after applying this stuff with no issues or re application. If you're a shooter do yourself a favor and buy it. My only gripe with this particular set is the fact that the CLP syringe sprung a leak while left in the hot cab of my truck and the bottles warped slightly but doing so in the summer sun was my mistake and not the fault of Steel Shield.

I don't write reviews often, but this one deserves it. As a mechanic, I'm well aware of premature component failures to improperly lubed parts. All too often we read of people losing an engine due to purchasing those $4 quarts of walmart oil instead of buying the $7 premium brand. You're doing yourself a disservice by using anything else, it's YOUR life on the line. I have to also say, the customer care is top notch. I emailed my questions and concerns to Weapon Shield. The next morning, I had a return email by the Owner/ Chief Engineer. He was very polite and informative. Spoke to me like a person, and not like a Microsoft tech who cares less if my computer fails. Good luck getting that kind of service from Hoppe's!!! I will either let my AR-15 drink the rest of my Hoppe's or use it as weed killer. This stuff is the way to go!! My wife quit nagging in my ear from stinking her out of the house. This stuff actually smells decent. Love that it is non-toxic. It stays where I put it and the pencil oiler was icing on the cake - ZERO WASTE! Especially when it's as expensive as it is. Weapon Shield CLP smoothed out a very old Mossberg of mine and made my revolver free-wheel again... and is what I trust my life with in my custom 1911. It could be 4.5 stars for performance, I reckon. Very pleased with the ease of cleaning, especially on follow-up work after using the WS initially. Haven't tried the grease, just the solvent and CLP. Bit of a toss-up in a contest with Frog Lube for my purposes. The tests seem to show the super slippery WS outperforms the rest of the pack; but I'm pleased with the performance of both WS and FL. If I had to start from scratch, I'd go with the Weapon Shield, especially for the solvent; but also keeping the test results in mind.

Weapon shield clp is terrific, I switched from Ewl Slip 2000 to Weapon Shield. Only complaint is the small bottle of oil when I try to use I either have to transfer oil to a plastic needle bottle oiler or pour a small amount in a small Tupperware cup and use a small brush and dip brush in oil. The small bottle of Weapon Shield oil when I try to use goes everywhere and hard to use. I tried transferring to an empty oiler pen but is hard to do. If any of you have the large bottle of oil can you please reply to my review if the large bottle has a better dropper and when used doesn't go all over the place? Other than that I think I found my number one go to gun oil.

Awesome stuff! I've been using Ballistol for quite a while and it does a great overall job. I'm not a fan of its smell but love the fact that it's all natural. Weapon Shield is amazing. I've used it on my Glocks, Rugers, SIgs and Mossbergs. It cleans as well as or better than Ballistol, thank to having a separate solvent and CLP combo and includes a greases that's perfect for trigger groups etc when you need the lubrication to stay put and not attract too much grit and grime. I highly recommend. Case in point, I shot four guns over 500 rounds and my hands were as clean as when I started. This stuff is incredible.

The reason I am giving it a 3 star is.The cost.I like how it works.But you get very little for the cost.I dont see much of a difference between the other lubes that I use and this one for wear protection.I just see less product and more cost.

All five stars reviews are spot on ! You tube videos on this product are spot on. This is a product you can feel the difference after one application. I was one of those people oil is oil, some better than others but none stood out as Wow! now that’s different.Until weapon shield came along.And don’t usually spend time to write a review, but this product stands out. If you spend big bucks on guns, why not spend a little more and take excellent care of your investment.
