Mini loaf pans
Absolutely love these pans for making mini loaves of zucchini bread. They are a little difficult to clean but it's worth the hassle. They release well. I recommend putting them on a baking sheet to avoid spilling when putting in the oven.

Not perfect, but pretty good for the money
I ordered the 9 × 5 × 2.5 in version of these pans (which came with 2 pans). Overall, I'm pretty happy with the pans. They arrived basically as described, however the way they were packaged caused one of the pans to be permanently deformed which annoyed me considering the description says "stronger than other loaf pan to maintain the original shape". Due to the shape of the pans and the way they are constructed, they aren't stackable, so the manufacturer crams one pan inside the other, thus deforming it to fit. There is really no other way for them to pack the pans without significantly increasing the size of the package so solving this problem would require either a design change in the product, or the packaging. Though this packaging issue definitely impacts the perceived quality of the product, the slight deformity of 1 pan has only a slight impact on the overall product performance -- when letting a loaf of bread rise in 1 pan before baking, having a deformed 2nd pan makes it harder (but not impossible) to use the 2nd pan as a cover for the first pan when they would otherwise work perfectly for this. The pans do seem less sturdy overall than the product page implies -- the walls seem rather thin and lacking in rigidity despite the 3 support pillars on each side of the pan, though I do not know if keeping the walls as thin as possible might actually improve cooking performance by allowing heat to transfer more easily through the walls of the pan when baking. When it comes to silicone pans, perhaps there is a tradeoff in heat transfer vs sturdiness and these pans try to strike the right balance. I can only guess about that as I have no other silicone bread pans to compare to, or any metal ones for that matter. I will say that I cooked a loaf of bread with them using a recipe that called for a metal pan, and my bread still turned out great. I did not need to alter the baking time to account for silicone vs metal, and the silicone lived up to its non-stick reputation - the bread popped out of the pan with ease. I have to knock off 1 star for the packaging/deformity issue, but overall I'm happy with the quality of the product for the price (which was $13.99 at the time of purchase).

Work as they should and easy to clean in dishwasher
These get a bit misshapen in storage but regain they shape once filled and in the oven. I can put them in the dishwasher, so they're easy to clean.

Perfect for personal loaves/cakes and singles
I make chicken meat loafs for my special needs dog who cannot eat kibble due to a very large hole in the roof of her mouth. These are perfect to hold a cup of the mixture for baking. They will hold about 1.5 cups if I fill to the rim. I bake on a tray. Easy cleanup, easy storage. I bake in a 400 degree over with no problem. I will be purchasing more soon to speed baking times. Recommend for any small personal loaves or cakes.

Send BACK if misshapen out of box!
I love the size of these BUT they were distorted when I got them but didn't report as I thought when full of banana bread dough they'd 'straighten out'. BUYT NO. My breads and muffins have dents and/or are misshapen. So Sad. Otherwise, I love them....

Flimsy…use a pan to support it
I bought these to make ice cubes for my 18 oz water thermos. I had previously purchased butter stick molds, but I could only fit one in my thermos, and it melted the same day.So this mold gives me large enough cubes to add at least three (I need to have clearance for the straw that’s included with the thermos). I could probably fit four , but at the time of adding cubes to my thermos, I only had three that were completely frozen. One thing I do like better with this mold more than the butter mold is this mold is flimsy. The butter mold is thicker, making it difficult to remove the cubes. This mold cannot be filled without support at the bottom; whether it’s brownie mix, cupcakes or water. It is very flimsy. However, as mentioned above, once the ice is frozen, the removal is very manageable. So two cubes fit together at the bottom of my thermos, and two fit together at the top.Ice, being what it is…and the metal thermos being what it is, I need to move the ice and water around to prevent ice freezing to the sides like the classic light pole scene from “A Christmas Story”. So if you do try this, add the cubes first, and shake it a bit as you add the refrigerated water, to keep the cubes moving and from attaching themselves to the sides (You won’t have this issue if the water is room temperature).I did buy two molds, in case one tore, and I’ve only used the mold once. This should give me at least three thermos fills before refilling and freezing the molds. The molds I bought (2 trays of 12 molds) fit perfectly on my mom’s 9.5”X12” aluminum toaster oven pan I ruined with Easy Off (do not use Easy Off on aluminum). She was going to throw it away, and I asked her if I could have it. It is perfect for providing support for this mold. There was a small brown spot in a corner of a mold in both trays, but simple wash in sudsy water removed it. Be sure to wash these molds before using them. This should be practiced with any kitchenware you buy. You never know what’s been in them or touching them.I’m always honest with my reviews, and was not paid to leave my opinion (or someone else’s). If and when I come across a problem with the product, I am sure to add updates; however, this is also true when I discover something about the product that impresses me.So far, even with the flimsiness, which only adds to the simplicity of ice cube removal, I am impressed.Whatever reason you are buying this (they are a perfect size for small decorative soaps), I think they will suit your needs quite well.
