Was trying to install in my bike but stays loose and came with 1 bracket only

I haven't broken it yet. Have a light and a cell phone mounted on it. It's on a pavement bike. Not sure if it would hold up on an mtb or dh bike.

I wanted to provide some additional information that may help with you selection of this bar. When I first tried to install it, I had the exact same issues as the other reviews you may have seen. Mounts would just slip around the bar no matter how hard you tightened it. Couple of things to consider: 1. If your bars do not have a straight spot were both mounts can align this will not work. -- If you look in the picture my bars have a slight bend out from center -- I had to bring the mounts closer together where the straight bar can slide through 2. If your bars are thin and you have to use the spacers that came with it, this will be where it will start slipping. -- To solve this, you will have to find some thin rubber gaskets to put between the mount and the spacer as well as the spacer and the bar (if you feel it is worth the extra work) -- If you use just the mount (no spacer) the rubber gasket it comes with will work, but you have to tighten it super tight - Or get some thin rubber since the gasket it comes with is not very good. This bar is really good once you get it on. Super light and the bar and mounts are aluminum. I gave this bar 4 stars because it is good quality, however no instructions and the gaskets should have been a softer rubber so it would not slip as much. Hope this helps!

Works great and sturdy I gave 3 stars bc the picture of it looked bigger than it actually is. It small and can hold a rear camera screen and a bike computer that’s it tho bc it’s tiny

I have a Evercross H5 Scooter. The handle bar is very thick w/o much room for additions. This bar gave me space to add a headlight, phone mount with still room left. The color is very nice & matches well. It was easy to put on. It was just what I needed.

The parts that help make the bar secure to ur handlebar are plastic, aka the bushings, but I used my own that I had and now very secure. Very happy concidering these don't cost very much and looks very nice on my ebike. A person can use just about any rubber to make your own, such as an old innertube, etc. 3 Stars for the plastic bits, the rest is spot on.

I liked the look , feel, workmanship, and price. No mater what I tried , ( the plastic , rubber shim material that was provided ) , or electrical tape to build up the handlebar it did not work. I did get it snug but when I went for a ride with a light mounted , it rolled and the light was pointing at the street. I gave up , and threw it in the trash. I don’t normally write reviews like this , but it should fit a 7/8” handlebar. If it doesn’t then the description should say so.
