Really good primer and aide-memoire
As a non-lawyer I have found this book very helpful. What it does well is cover all the key sections you may want in a IT contract with drafting options and some explanation of key concepts, pros-cons, and 'why'. It's a great book to have alongside you as an aide memoire even though just about any contract you do is likely to have much more sophisticated/detailed drafting. It's written in an American legal style and law as you'd expect but the 'why' is the same for England and Wales law and in my opinion the drafting can transfer with a few stylistic changes.

On the money
I found this especially helpful as a lawyer new to SAAS contracting. It's concise, covers the key issues and most importantly of all, it's really practical and is written for practitioners, not academics.

Poor quality
Opened my package to find this poor quality. I paid a lot of money for this book and I expected the book to be in great quality, not a second hand poor quality book. The pages inside also had this black chalk like print. Disappointed.
