Great Product … Wonderful Results
I decided to update my guest bathroom … by myself, and on a shoestring budget. Having never painted a floor, I bought the Rust-Oleum kit. This couldn’t be easier. It had great coverage, and dried quickly, which made it easy to add additional coats. I liked the floor so much, I painted the vanity. I added three coats of the sealer to protect the finish on the floor and vanity. The quality is exceptional. The products had no foul smell. With new-found confidence from the guest bathroom, I decided to do the master bath, and am quite happy with the results.

Ok, but not great
As some have mentioned, this product is tricky to apply. It dries very fast, too fast to effectively maintain a wet edge. After cutting in with a brush I rolled and ended up with a glossy perimeter and slightly glossy center. Rustoleum recommends one coat, which would be challenging to get right. I ended up doing another coat after 2 hours, but even then noticed wet paint dissolving “cured” paint as I rolled the second coat. It still looked uneven at two coats so I did a third after 4 more hours. It looks ok, but is still not an even finish. Humidity was low, temps were stable in the upper 60s (inside) and I used the suggested roller. Anyway, not the worst product but all clear top coats seem to be challenging. We’ll see how it holds up once I let it cure for a week. Not taking any chances at this point. (Pic of overlapping rolled edge after one coat)
