Seems good!
The braid on the left is the Kastking Superpower Silky8 and on the right is PowerPro. Both are 40 lbs. By look and by feel it seems that the PowerPro is thinner (this is by no means accurate though.) The Silky8 is comparable to PowerPro Super8 V2 but in my opinion the PP Super8 is slightly slicker. The Kastking casts very well. At this point I cannot comment on durability yet but will update if there is an issue. For the price this is good. The cheapest PP Super8 V2 I can get is $28 for a 40 lb 300 yards. Kastking Silky8 is a lot cheaper. It would be great if Kastking offers bigger spools.Update: After my third use of this braid it seems that there is actually some resistance to casting. I am using a 10 ft Tsunami Trophy distance spinning rod throwing 1 oz plugs. I am not sure if this is just subjective but I am pretty sure that the casting distance have slightly diminished. This braid does not glide through the guides as smoothly as before. Wind was not a factor at all. I did not notice this in the Regular Power Pro. Does anybody noticed this also? Taking off one star.

Excellent 30 lb
Review of 30lb 300yd.Update: added a star, the casting of this line is amazing. It doesn't have the same grinding feeling casting and reeling that the HT 30lb has, it is equivalent to, if not better than the 15lb spiderwire I have on my other rod.Previously:The fishing line has a nice tight braid compared to my HT 30lb I have. The line is also much smoother feeling and easily flows across my fingers. I tried to break the line by hand with leather gloves and could not. I am excited to load my heavy walleye rods with this. The line holds a knot very well, I tried it with a palomar knot. My only complaint is there is not manufacturing date on the box. I know fishing line gets old and I also know this is an import good, it could be very old from transport.I look forward to trying their 60lb

Smooth and easy to tie, but the coloring comes off too much and can stain
Update: I chose the gray color, and dye regularly stains my fingers. I was also spooling another reel recently and didn't notice the line going across my pants, but even after treating for the marks and washing my pants there are still gray/blue lines I can't get out. I don't know if it would be noticeable with other colors.Overall, I think I still recommend, just be careful. This line is easy to tie, important for joining braid to a monofilament leader with a double-uni knot.

Casts well and holds up to rough underbrush
This line was offered as a customer appreciation incentive. I did get reimbursed through the manufacturer but that does not influence my review. This line ties well and held the knot perfectly. I did not notice the knot loosen at all. It casts smooth and does not hinder the action of the lure at all. I only hooked up to medium size fish, (10-12 inches), so the line was not put to it's full tensile strength failure point. I did not see any fraying at all and I was working through a lot of cover brush. All in all I would say this line is well worth the money, even if I was to have paid for it.

Strong and smooth braided line, kastking keeps getting better!
I needed a strong line that was super thin to put on my shimano vanford shallow spool spinning reel. I was able to get 150 meters of this line on which is plenty for my finesse needs. This line is very smooth and strong, the 8lb line easily picked up a 10lb weight and didn't break with me shaking it around, I would guess the static pull break strength is closer to 11-12lbs. I'll add the kastking kovert in 10lb test for a leader and will be able to handle most bass in my area no problem. Great value!

Quality in reasonable price for salwster fishing
This time I'm going to test the new 40-pound blue line.I have never had problems for the librage in which they support, it has very good resistance to the sun, stones.I have used it to catch Jack creballe, Barracuda, Mahi Mahi, Spanish Mackarel and Yellowtail Tuna. The color in all the variations of thread wears out in a few uses, let's hope this is different.

Amazing quality and it took fishing to a whole new level
I never used a braided line before, but man, this one really sets a new standard in fishing gear! It's so light and strong and it is so smooth! I changed the lines on all my reels-I do mostly river/trout fishing and the color is just perfect for river fishing.PROS:-fast shipping-good quality-different diameters availableCONS:-none

You have arrived at your new line!
This is my new favorite fishing line! Kastking has come a really long way with their product line and now they rival or beat some of the highest price fishing gear at walmart prices. This line is no different, it destroys Powerpro, spiderwire, and maxium hands down.
