K-12 Administration Manual
This is a top-5 book for K-12 administrators. While some of the insights might be considered "common sense," the vast majority of Whitaker's work fills the gaps between the differences between administrators who are good and those who are great. I cannot recommend this book strongly enough. If you are a principal or assistant principal, get this book and read it twice.
