Kept the breeze off whilst sat having a picnic on Filey beach (east coast of England). You need a rubber mallet or something with you to hammer the wind break poles into the sand. Fantastic value, very pleased! Review: Cheap, but effective - After a few sand sandwiches at various beach trips last year when it got a bit breezy I decided I'd get a windbreaker this year, and despite the low cost this one does the job nicely. It's a good size with the 4 panels, the fabric is strong and the wooden poles are sturdy. The first use was in early May where the sunshine was accompanied by a fresh breeze, this performed brilliantly, I got to lie out and enjoy the sun and was completely sheltered from the wind. I also used it recently in garden to protect a cluster of young sunflowers from a June storm that brought sustained 45mph gusts, which would snapped them without this protecting them.
