This has saved me money. I have been trying to get things to repaired and every time I do it cost me extra and so now that I've purchased this I can actually connect my own batteries to the things that need to be repaired. It's been used on a battery pack for a drill and a mangroomer back shaver. I'm getting ready to use it on my electric toothbrush.

Esperé ansioso este para soldar unas baterías que estoy haciendo, el empaque agradable y un manual sencillo, para un dispositivo así no hace falta mucha explicación pero no funcionó. Ni siquiera enciende un led, totalmente muerto incluso después de tenerlo más de una hora intentando darle carga donde tampoco dio indicios de estarlo haciendo.Intentaría la devolución del artículo pero personalmente no me es factible hacerlo.Actualización.Inicialmente esta fue mi reseña pero enseguida el vendedor se puso en contacto conmigo dispuesto a enviarme un equipo nuevo y recomendando al fabricante una revisión de calidad más exhaustiva. Por políticas de Amazon no debo aceptar la propuesta y personalmente no hago una crítica para tomar ventajas pero si puedo ser sincero y reconocer que estas cosas pasan y si bien mi experiencia con el equipo fue mala las respuestas del vendedor son de primer nivel por lo que no dudaría en darle a este la mejor calificación.2da actualización. Finalmente he recibido el nuevo soldador, llegó con un 50 porciento de carga y pude hacer una sencilla prueba para verificar que funcionaba correctamente.Después de cargarlo totalmente he podido comprobar que este soldador se ajusta estrictamente a la descripción y utilizándolo bien creo que rinde más que lo que dice el fabricante.No tengo un trabajo específico que hacer en este momento pero me ha gustado tanto el desempeño de este soldador que he decidido preparar una muestra en video de todos los modos de funcionamiento como demostración para su utilización. La verdad, LO RECOMIENDO encarecidamente, es fenomenal tener un dispositivo como este y le aseguro que de verdad hace el trabajo.Por estos motivos y los que explicaré después he decidido ser justo otorgando la mejor calificación a este equipo así como a la atención al cliente que no pudo ser más rápida y eficiente.

I flew out of my chair when I did my first weld. The shower of sparks caught me by surprise. It's not too easy to see the settings. It's all 2 rows of tiny LEDs and there is no way to see what is up or what is down. That means you can read the settings completely wrong. You can have auto mode on while thinking it's on manual. You can have the highest powersetting on thinking you are on lowest. But it does the job.It is small and very light. Very nice but also kind of annoying. Moving the weld leads means you are also moving the whole unit and it kind of gets in the way. It is too small and light for its own good.The leads are unisolated and it's kind of scary holding pure copper knowing how powerful this thing is. I covered the leads with electrical tape.I was able to make a whole 40 cell pack with hundreds of welds before the battery ran out.I was able to tack 1 mm steelplate together. Not a weld I'd trust with my life but useful as a temporary glue while working. The unit is surprisingly powerful and great value for money.

Este equipo tengo que devolverlo porque no he logrado que funcioneEste equipo fue devuelto y lo que necesito es el reembolso no que me lo entreguen de nuevo, porque de hecho ya compré otro que lo estoy usando y ya no lo necesito, sds OJO. Ese quipo lo devolví por defectos y no quiero remplazos solo quiero que me devuelvan el importe. Ya tengo uno de mejo calidad, por favor que no tenga que devolverlo otra vez, Sds

I bought this a few years ago back when it had 6 "gears". It worked ok back then but was underpowered. I think I used it a total of 2 times back then. I went to go use it again and it now no longer has enough power to weld even the thinnest nickel strips. now I have to buy another one that is more powerful and not cheap garbage. This isn't even high enough quality for a hobbyist that uses it every once in a while, because now 3 years later it is completely useless... it is complete trash that will just disappoint you over and over again. you know what they say, you get what you pay for.Also important to note: It will NOT weld pure nickel strips at all, the only thin I have been able to weld with it is the fake "nickel" strips that come with the welder. I bought separately some 0.1x8mm nickel strips (the thinnest kind that even the weakest welders should be able to weld) and it can't weld them unless you hit the same spot 3 times.
