Amazing boots! This is my second set of Korkers and I have to say I couldn't be happier. I upgraded from the greenbacks to the buckskins and it only solidified my loyalty to the brand. They are extremely light weight yet durable, they fit perfectly with the heel lock design, the drainage system is far superior to any other boot I have owned and the capability of switching from a vibram sole to a felt sole in less than a minute is phenomenal. There is only one thing I would change and it's with the vibram soles. It would be awesome to have predrilled holes for adding screw in studs. This alone is not enough to make me rate any less than 5 stars but would be a nice feature in later versions. Rest assured, I am happy with these and when it comes time for my next pair they will certainly be Korkers.

Good boot overall
Good boot. Have these and the greenbacks. These are for stiffer than the greenbacks, but still are comfortable. Minorly disappointed with the heel lock, but very minimal heel movement, so that’s alright. One minor complaint is the lacing system is too “slippery” - prefer nylon lacing systems which add a bit of friction when you’re tightening up the boot from the bottom to the top of the laces. Hope this makes sense. Have worn them about 12 times, no sign of wear so far, I think they will last a while.(For the money I’d go with the greenbacks as they are a touch lighter and I like the lacing system better.)

Great Boot
I agree with another reviewer that I did not need to size up for this boot. I wear a 14 but bought a 15. I found the boots are sized to include a wader sock. Despite that, the boots cinch up just fine and I can work with the extra space. Totally pleased with the purchase. I went with the felt soles after slipping on my ass for two days with the rubber ones, but there are some places that the rubber soles are required. It's easy to change the soles, just snap on, snap off.

Needed new
I had old worn out leather boots. Felt bottom. Love felt soles, not acceptable that many places. Love the fact I can change soles. Felt does not work every time. These look big and bulky but are actually reasonable as far as weight. Easy on and off, fit seems true to size. I like the platform this shoe gives me. When steeping on uneven surface, which is almost, all the time. The bottoms stay firm. Foot does not roll or twist. Get the same flat step every time. Maybe my old boots did that when they were new also. Too many years to remember. Takes some getting used to. I could feel the river contour better with my old pair. Have to make sure of foot placement, but I am sure I will get to trust them. Feet do not get tired, so I will call it a win.

Good quality but was concerned about the interchangeable soles
I ultimately decided to return these after unvoxing and trying them on. They were comfortable and the quality appeared to be good. However, I wad concerned that over time the interchangeable soles may come off in the mucky bottoms of some of the rivers I fish. Neat concept, but I didn't want to risk losing a sole on such an expensive pair of boots.

the good and not so....
I recently purchased and made a trip to Colorado to fish in Rio Grande Forest. I will start with the good. These fit perfect and were incredibly comfortable for all day fishing and moving from one spot to another. Overall well made. The bad is the interchangeable soles. The concept is great but the reality was lacking. Both my brother (he purchased the more expensive Devil's Canyon) and I lost soles the first time we stabbed into muck to fish a beaver pond. The side attachment just was not enough to hold the soles in place. The back attachment just came loose and the soles popped off. He lost his a few days before and as luck would have it I lost mine in same place when we found his. Neither of us were aware they had come off at the time. A more substantial side attachment would greatly improve these boots in my opinion. Considering the cost of boots and the replacement cost of soles we both were disappointed. At least we both recovered the soles.

You can switch out the soles.
This is a great product and has met my expectations. Only time will tell how long they last,
