They make the bulb hang lower
Ok so I know that’s obvious but easy to forget; the bulb will sit lower in the lampshade etc. however they are great quality, decent price and they do the job. I got them because I have a load of smart bulbs that didn’t fit my new house but are too expensive to replace directly.

Does the job well. Although needs to be treated with great care as if you over tighten whatever you fit in to it the fittings can easily brake .

Used to attach ceiling fans
Used to put ceiling fans on existing light fixtures. No issues with them

Got this ceiling fan for the bedrooms and omg for them hot summer nights this is excellent, 3 settings on the fan remote. That light is a little to bright but can changed to a warm. Easy to install and great quality. Oh and it doesn’t make any noise either brilliant buy Highly recommended

No problem with fitting or not working. All my bulbs are low wattage led so nothing gets hot enough to melt Amazed folk used these with 100 watt and 150 watt bulbs and complained they melted.
