I recommend anyone who first starts watercolor use this paper. It holds water well and you can use the two sides.

This I liked the size which is smaller than what I normally use. The paint flows nicely, easy to control. The paper is very forgiving and allows changes with ease. Very sturdy and can take a lot of manipulation.

I am a Beginner watercolorer and this paper was reconnected to me to use for my projects. I like it's surface and will use more in the future.

I am a beginner water color artist. I saw this reviewed in a video. I wanted to try a higher grade of paper, just to experience and compare cheap paper to expensive paper. This is expensive (at least on my budget). But the quality is excellent. It is really thick. It also is in a block so you don't have to tape down the page. And it holds water really really well. The water color goes on very smooth and the texture holds the color in place. I like it and hope to always have some on hand. It won't be my every day paper because of the price but when I want to do something special I'll use this paper.
