I'm obsessive about the constructs of humankind like pyramids, teddy bears, and "time." This device will, if properly set and maintained, display the somewhat subjective measurement of the rotation of the earth on its axis. Sometimes it's good to know if you're looking at a nearby star or bunches of more out of reach ones.Anyway, this machine does a good job at it. So far when I look at it when near a star it gives me a measurement of how soon I won't be able to see it. Oh, and it does this really cool trick. If I can't see while the near star isn't visible I can push this button thing on the side and it will channel all of the light from the out of reach ones and light the face of the dial to tell me how soon the near star will be back in service.At least I think that's how it works. I believe it was designed by the Illuminati*.Also, it assigns a number and word to each new sighting of the near star. Super cool!Also, also, it looks great on my extremely handsome and not boney at all wrist. My friends ask about it all the "time" and I nonchalantly say, "What? This old thing?" while secretly, proverbially pooping my pants with pride.They ask me what it does and I tell them what I just told you. They just shake their heads while tapping their wrist straps that make beeps and boops and they talk into them like some real weirdos.A guess the big take away here is that this device is accurate, handsome, durable, and can be used as a flashlight if you need to go to the bathroom while the near star is away. I stepped on way, way too many dog toys prior to buying this. Also, also, also, that my friends are really weird but you probably don't care about that.tl;drQuality - Its made with itDurability - I haven't broken it yet and I tend to hit my wrist on stuff a good bit. In a way it has a second purpose of being lite wrist armor.Sound - It ticks. It tocks. This is my second Timex, same model. Old one began stopping for no apparent reason. Not related to battery. Love the size. It's a man's watch, but the right size for me. Easy read and love the "indiglo" feature. I did not like the leather strap. Found it too thick and difficult to put on and take off.

These Timex watches for men can last me for years. But every year for my Birthday my wife asks me "What I want for my birthday gift?" And every year I respond ONLY a "Timex wrist watch from Amazon.com that has both the DATE and DAY on it." Thank you, Amazon.com .

It was a well received birthday gift. I worried that the band wouldn't fit ( a problem experienced in the past with other inexpensive watches). However, it fit as it should and is being enjoyed by the recipient.

Nice timex watch and good quality watch

This is the third one of this Timex model WR30 M I've owned and because it's always been an accurate watch I continue to use them.

This is a replacement Timex watch and I have had one just like it. As a person who always wears a watch this one is very helpful because it includes date and day of the week. Adjusting settings by watch stem when months change from 28 to 30 to 31 days is fussy and takes patience. I would have given 5 stars across all except the box it was packaged in was a total mess. It looked as if it had been dropped and kicked a few times. The watch works so will keep it.

I totally LOVE this little watch, for many reasons - it also goes well in my watch collection.1- The small size case - only 35mm - is awesome. Compact and light. Goodbye big old potatoes.2- The face is minimalist: white, clear and so easy to read. All numbers and markers are also easy to notice.3- The date and day feature is a big plus. (PS: to change the day, you just have to turn the hour hands around and around until you get to the right day; this may take a while, but once done you should never have to do it again (except when the battery runs out).4- The night light is great to have, when required. It works perfectly, for a small light and does the job required without problem.5- The stem head is small and unobtrusive - meaning it won't dig in your wrist.6- The band is also very nice, but unfortunately for me it's a bit too small, so I went with another one. No big deal. The original band doesn't have to stay with the watch anyway. I still give it 5 stars without hesitation.I would very likely buy this again, if need be. Highly recommended.

This is a great wrist watch. I like that it is a little smaller than the usual big bulky watches currently in style. If anything, I would wish the watch to be thinner than it is so that when you are doing various mechanical work, you can reach through tight spaces without removing it. The night light is excellent (too bright if anything). People have commented about difficulty setting the day of the week. To do so simply turn the hands past midnight repeatedly until you are on the correct day, then pull the crown to stage one and set the date. You should never have to set the weekday again. Pretty simple, I thought. Overall I think this is a great watch and a practical design.

There is nothing to dislike about this watch, it is a beauty and the price is amazing....day or night easy reading and with the date and day of the week feature, this is without a doubt a godsend for us seniors....perfection personified
