Delicious!!!!

I wanted to try these after I found out that original Twinkies were banana flavoured until WWII, so I wanted to see what that might have tasted like. I know modern banana flavouring is based on the way bananas used to taste over 100 yrs ago so it couldn't be that far off, right?Anyway:these were excellent!!! They have ruined me for regular vanilla (?) flavoured Twinkies!! The banana flavour wasn't too strong, cloying, or 'super fake' tasting. (I know it's fake but it didn't scream fake, y'know?) Very moist, creamy filling, buttery and a nice fruity sweet, an excellent flavour combo.

Banana Flip!

Remember the Banana Flip? A folded taco shaped yellow cake with white cream filling? My older brother always had first dibs on it, so i rarely got it. These Twinkies are IT. The "Banana Twins" by somebody else are sickeningly sweet. These were delish. Too bad brother is now allergic to bananas... they're mine, all mine!
