We play board games pretty often. When we want a fast paced scramble game, this is our go-to. Expansion pack is great for when guest come over. A lot of fun and very easy to learn.

This is the boxed version of a game my family and I loved 50 years ago - Nertz. We sat in a circle on the floor and played this forever. When I read the description I recognized it immediately. I have now introduced it to my children and grandchildren. The cards are as durable as they can reasonably be. We used to play with face cards, but I like this numbered version because it's a little more educational for the young ones. This game has some great adjustments you can make so the youngest can compete -- either fewer cards in their pile or turning the cards one at the time instead of every three. For the most part I don't really enjoy the speed games so much anymore, but this was definitely an exception. I think I can safely guarantee that it will be enjoyed by all families. Try it, you'll love it. I may have goofed and put this review on the expansion pack which I also bought, the more the merrier.
