Great sound machine
I bought this machine in 2019 when my daughter was a baby. She has always been a light sleeper and she was waking up throughout the night. Once I bought this sound machine, she slept throughout the night. Fast forward 6 years later and she still uses it. I even take it with us when we travel because she cannot sleep without her sound machine. We have noticed that it's not as loud as it used to be, but it still serves its purpose and I am about to purchase another one to replace it.

Great quality, calming sounds
I bought this 8 years ago, in 2017, and it still works perfectly. We love the many options for sounds and the volume control. It works so well, I’m buying a new one for another family member!

Spouse snoring? Try this little machine
I first saw this little machine in the Doctor's office. The nurse places it outside the door so people in the waiting area cannot hear patient room conversation. I bought this compact white noise machine for travel. I do not like outside noise , snoring, etc and needed something to help me sleep. Love it.

great product, lasted 6 years at such an affordable price! (finally needed replacement)
My first one lasted 6 years! That is phenomenal by any standard. And it would probably be fixable by someone with technical ability because basically I just wore out the on/off button. Has been my sleep companion for 6 years--usually with night sound (crickets). Would definitely give 5 stars to that one. The new/current edition which I ordered as replacement has changed, and the night cricket sound is not as nice, so I had to switch to babbling brook. Another change is they have removed the little on indicator light, probably because experts have said we should have no light at all when we are sleeping. They also replaced the normal power cord with a USB converter type power cord so that you could charge it from a computer, which seems silly, but okay. You can also plug directly into an outlet or power strip. The on button now requires sustained pressure to turn it on, so I'm worried that this button will wear out faster.

Great white noise
Perfect white noise for sleep. Love the thunder storm, we listen to that every night.

Changed design, lower quality, different tone if white noise
I have been buying this brand for years. I have bad tinnitus, and this is the only white noise that I have found that completely masks my tinnitus. I pretty much use them nonstop and of course they eventually die on me so I have to buy more. I guess they decided to change the design which feels way cheaper and fragile compared to the prior design. The worst part is the white noise tone has completely changed and does not mask my tinnitus and honestly sounds very annoying and grating. Additionally, the listed photos for the white version of this product still show the old version so in a desperate attempt to get the old version, I made an additional purchase of the white version, but was just sent the new version instead. Very disappointed. Will most likely be returning and definitely will not be purchasing from this brand again.

Good sound machine
Works great. All of the sounds are good, and there is a wide range in the volume. I probably use it lower than most, but it can go very loud.

Good white noise/sound machine for the price
I've looked at a few different white noise machines and they're either stupidly expensive for what it is, or incredibly cheap sounding. This one was on an Amazon flash deal a while back so I thought I'd try it out. The sound quality is decent but some of the recorded noises are questionable. For instance, my boys start laughing when I turn on the "babbling brook" noise because it sounds like someone peeing. The thunder storm one is fun but you can tell when it starts over again. The night time noises are great though - kind of a camping in the woods sound with crickets and such. Mainly though it's just used in the boys' rooms for the actual white noise setting to drown out our loud neighbors. All in all it's a good little device for the price but my main gripe is the sound levels - it's either too loud or too quiet. You push the button and barely notice a change until about the mid-volume range then it goes from "shhhhh" to "SSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHH". In order to get it just where we want it, we put it on the louder volume and just throw a thin burp rag over it to muffle it a little.PROS:-Good value-it's aesthetically pleasing, it's actually a pretty good looking noise machine. Definitely not the ugliest one I've seen.- Decent sounds and sound quality for a cheaper unit- small unit that can easily fit on a shelf or elsewhere- fairly good quality constructionCONS:- Buttons click loudly when pushed so you can't be sneaky if you're turning it on/off in your kids room when they're already asleep.- Power button has an LED which is a little too bright but can work as a dim night-light- Volume adjustment needs more levels at the mid-range instead of just jumping from semi-soft to loud with a single button push.- A little bit better speaker quality wouldn't hurt - it's okay for the price but still has that slight tin-can sound.Until I find a better one in this price range, I'd still recommend this one as it is pretty good for the money.**UPDATE**we have two of these sound machines, one for each of our kids' rooms. The first one we purchased in July of 2017 and it's still going strong even after almost three years of daily use. The sound quality is still the same as the first day and the volume is still wonky, but I feel it important to report that they have definitely withstood the test of time.
