Ease to close
This walker is awesome. My home's doorway are normal size but most walkers don't fit thru them. But with this one, I just pull on the handle, we're it's suppose to close, a bit and it fit thru easily. Like an accordian. Just gotta be careful, it might close on you. You get use to opening and closing it, after a while. My family loves it they said it was a great buy. Because the ease of folding like and umbrella and getting it into the car, without fighting with trying to push buttons or handles to fold. I love the color. It's basket is good, and very handy to have, but if you have something in it and you close the walker things fall out. You just have to be careful and take stuff off when closing it. The ski like back legs slide smoothly. It is very lightweight. To pick up unto sideways.

Great Walker Made Better - Add a Seat and Rear Wheels
After seeing a friendโs Stander Walker, I was impressed with its portability and ordered one. This Walker is great for taking to church, restaurants, etc. because it is so lightweight and compact, yet still sturdy. For my needs, however, it was incomplete since it lacked two features โ a seat, and small rear wheels. Being a retired engineer, I eventually figured out two solutions worth sharing that have solved my problems yet do not significantly affect the unitโs weight or compactness. As shown in the attached pictures, NO ALTERATIONS TO THE WALKER ARE NECESSARY: 1). ADDING A SEAT: Amazon carries all items -- one 21โ Axle Strap (item โALL10204โ), plus two 3/16โ Large D Shackles (item โBOOJH1SL65โ), plus two Seat Belt Pads (item โB001JEIHAGโ). This will yield a padded sling seat that is about kitchen stool height (26โ). {If a longer 24โ Axle Strap is used, such as item โB005C2ASRQโ or โB00EEFJ9EAโ, the seat will be about 1 ยฝโ lower.} Place a strap D-ring in a Shackle and place the removable piece into the lowest visible hole in the walkerโs handle, with the โeyeโ on the outside so you donโt hit youโre hips on it when sitting. Subsequently place the seat belt pads over the strap, with a small gap between them and with the opening side toward the crossbar and with the double layer of padding on top. [If you use one longer seat belt pad, instead of two shorter ones, then the seat will not fold properly when folding up the walker.] 2). ADDING REAR WHEELS WITH โBRAKESโ: If you are concerned about the walker sled feet potentially damaging your floors, or how the sliding sled feet slow you down when walking, consider adding these โRear Brake Attachmentsโ. Because the Stander Walkerโs rear legs slant, however, it is necessary to have a handyman make some relatively easy modifications to the Invacare units before they can attached to the Stander walker. When installed, your walkerโs re-installed sled feet will normally rub slightly on the new rear wheels and this will keep the walker from sliding away when not in use. However, when a user presses down SLIGHTLY on the walker handles, the new rear wheels will roll smoothly. When a user presses down MORE FIRMLY on the rear handles, the walkerโs original sled feet will touch the ground and act as the walkerโs brake, just as originally intended. Amazon carries a Rear Brake Attachment (by Invacare) in several lengths. I used the cheapest and shorter 10โ size (item โB005PGD830โ for a pair). First, a handyman will have to use a sharp 3/16โ drill-bit to drill out the aluminum rivets that hold the wheel assembly onto the Invacare tube. Next, slide the plastic brake assembly up the tube as needed so you can mark and cut off the excess tubing and foot from the Invacare tube just above the last hole in the tube (about 15/16โ below the centerline of the drilled out hole). The easiest and best way to cut the tubing is to use a tubing cutter (a 1 1/8โ capacity cutter is needed). Finally, unscrew the Stander Walker rear sled foot hex screw and temporarily remove the sled foot (a wrench apparently is also supplied with the Stander sled feet replacements, if you donโt already have one). Lay the walker on its side, slide the brake attachment back over the walker aligning the holes and re-insert the walker foot in the walker leg. Next insert a 1 ยพโ long standard #10 Machine Screw (available at any hardware store) through the brake assembly, tubing, walker leg, and sled foot and add the nut, and screw everything together โ both the screw head and nut will fit snugly into the existing holes on the plastic brake assembly. Repeat the process for the second walker leg. If you no longer desire either additional feature, either or both changes are easily removable and the walker restored to its as-shipped state. These changes work well for me and hopefully this information will be useful to someone else. /Henry Vaughan

Has a tendency to roll left
Folds compactly, easy to stow in vehicle, light, sturdy. Has a tendency to roll to left. Cross bar on outside provides more torque to left side wheel. Takes a bit of practice to go in a straight line. Overall a very good product.

Easy to use and worth the money!
East to use, set up and store. Opens and snaps in place like a baby carriage. Only complaint would be no handbrakes. Color is great and itโs easy to use on smooth and rough surfaces. Lightweight but very sturdy!! Great value

Not good on vinyl flooring
My stander arrived yesterday. Yes, it is light weight, easy to open and close. Went fine on the carpet but then I tried it on the vinyl tiled kitchen floor it sort of fish tailed around. If I lost my balance I would be on the floor. Since it would be kept in car and used for errands to the drug store (tile floors), doctor office (can't remember if they are carpeted but usually tile by the elevator) I am not sure the Stander will fit my needs. May need to return. At While Foods where it is all vinyl flooring.

An easy-to-fold sturdy walker
This is a really nice walker, albeit somewhat expensive. If you buy one like this, be sure to get the one with the swiveling, 6" front wheels. The wheels can swivel freely or be easily locked in place. The manufacturer throws in a simple bag that holds a few items and collapses when the walker is folded. It's also a bit heavy for some users as it's primarily steel and weighs about 8 lbs (3.6 Kg). The only somewhat irritating thing is the adjustment for the height of the hand grips. You have to remove a knob and small carriage bolt completely, reposition the grip, then reinsert the bolt. Could be a good safety feature for users who may not be able to correctly adjust the hand grip height themselves. A couple of reviewers complained that the swivel wheels do not lock. They do lock with a simple spring-loaded pin that engages a notch in the frame of the swivel wheel. Align the notch with the pin, push up to engage the notch and push the handle of the locking pin to the side to secure it in place. Another reviewer complained that the skids and the wheel are held on with rivets. They are not. They are secured with hex recess screws. A 4 mm hex wrench fits them; the wrenches are available at most hardware or home improvement stores. Replacement skids or wheels should be available from the company. See the sticker on one of the legs or the included instruction sheet. Best for indoor use as the skids on the rear legs don't work well outdoors or on concrete. They do add stability, however. Ours is great for moving past obstacles in our house as the walker can be easily made narrower to pass through. Recommended.

Nippy rollator
This rollator came on holiday with me to give me support in walking due to my having recently had an hip operation. It folds down to a long umbrella shape, is light and is very easy to open up to use. Has a very handy bag attachment which folds with the rollator when the rollator is not being used. Very quick delivery, and a good price. It is dearer than other rollators, but it makes up for this by being very transportable.. I researched this rollator in depth before I got one and was surprised to see the difference in prices being charged. At the time of buying mine this seller was the cheapest. Very good for travelling , shopping etc, and it stands up when folded not taking up much room. Is very easy to steer, and I felt very safe. It has supported me both inside and out. Perfect!

Good quality
The overall product is strong, yet light. Easy to fold and unfold. Sturdy and the wheels very flexible. I purchased the rose colour. A very subtle rose. Quite pleased with that. Packaged well.
