These vents are a true gift if you add another sink or additional plumbing where venting is needed but you do not want to cut holes through your roof to run a vent pipe. The Studor Mini-Vent is the answer for venting right under your sink without cutting or dreading to put a vent pipe through your ceiling, attic and through your roof. They have a shut off valve so no sewer gases can seep through. If I could I would give it more than 5 stars.

Purchased to replace a cheaper part in a travel trailer. Very easy to replace, took 5 minutes, tops. I bought an extra to keep with us because no one wants to spend a trip camping in a stinky camper. I have a 2007 Keystone Hideout and this was a perfect fit, adapter was appreciated but not needed for my application. I used some plumbers tape as instructed. The old one unscrewed fairly easily and the new one screwed right back in it's place. I love an easy fix and a cheap functional upgrade.

We had an indoor vent for the washing machine drain that would cause horrible odours when the water drained into the laundry sink. Saw this used on This Old House in a similar situation and decided to give it a try. Works perfectly, odours gone immediately. A bit more expensive than others but well worth it.
