Sturdy, quick and easy to fit, looks good
Needed this for my car to teach my learner students. Fits easily by unscrewing a screw at the back of the unit. The glass comes off easy. You can then fit it on to the wing mirrors using metal pieces and the screws provided, i have attached a picture to show how i have done it.Then one needs to place the glass back in to the socket and screw it at the back. That's all. Took me five minutes to fit both of them. It's very sturdy. Doesn't get loose even with all the jerks the car gets.Mirror is well secured and can be adjusted according to the need by exerting a slight pressure, to left or right, for a better view.It is far better than the small round, blind spot mirror which is actually stucked on to your right or left wing mirror, covering a corner and leaving residue when pulled out.It didn't come with any instructions but it's written in the one of the image of the listing.

No instructions. Easy to break the mirror. No rubber pad to prevent damage.
Came without instructions. No QR code on the box to link to a demo of the installation. Couldn't find anything on the internet. So I broke the glass trying to get the mirror out of the housing. How you remove the mirror without damaging the glass is not obvious. And why deliver it assembled, when to fit it, you have to remove the mirror anyway? Why not deliver it with the mirrors separate? Competing products also come with an adhesive rubber strip to prevent damage to the existing rear-view mirror where the metal grips the plastic.Once I removed the mirror (using a pair of open scissors through the fitting slot to lever each side of the ball-joint) without damage, and added a rubber strip of my own to the metal fitting flange, and screwed the flange down with the supplied wrench, it fitted OK and is tight on the existing RVM. It works quite well as a supplement to the main mirror in covering the blind spot that's an issue when driving on the continent.I just can't understand that when they've gone to the trouble of supplying a small wrench for fitting the mirror, someone has decided that not to supply a small pad of rubber for the metal connector and any instructions. And why it's not occured to anyone to pack the mirrors and casings separately.

Not enough adjustment, not convex
Fitting these is a really fiddly job. The spanner provided for the bolts has very sharp edges - chewed up my thumb.Once fitted, I could not adjust the mirror to the required position because the mirror immediately hits the steel clamp that holds the mirror on the car.I was disappointed to discover that the mirror surface is flat, not convex (which would show a wider image). Therefore, I have ditched the steel clamps so that the mirror can be adjusted properly and will fix it to the car using 3M adhesive pads.
