QA was out sick the day this one was built - Over heating in open air - Poor construction lead to it's demise
The price was right and it connects and sounds fine but the I can not keep it from overheating and shutting down, even at low volume.Initially I had it in a pretty tight enclosure and after about 30 minute of play time it would shut down on it's own.I then vented the enclosure and it would play for about an hour before it would start this series of beeps every 5-10 minutes (which I can only assume is an over temp warning even though it did not make the noise the first time it shut down)Then it eventually shut off again on it's own. Finally I removed it from the enclosure so it was playing in open air and after about 45 minutes it shut down again without warning.I felt the amp chip to judge the temp and it was so hot that you could not touch it.At this point I have modified the speaker inputs so I can not return it.I may swap this out for the 2x50 watt version that has a heat sink on the chip to see if that fixes the issueEDIT: So after a little research on the TDA7492P chip it turns out that there is a pad on the bottom of the chip that is intended to be soldered to a ground pad for heat sinking.I decided to buy a heat sink and attach it to the bottom side of the board where that heat sinking ground area is.This was the hottest area.I then tried to power it up and nothing happens. No lights. No sound....Nothing. It's dead.I checked voltage at several points on the board and at several points on the chip and it seemed to be getting power in a lot of places but not to where it needs it.Assuming it overheated to the point that the chip is toast I started investigating why it over heated in the first place. It did not take long to flip the board over and notice that the through holes on the bottom of the board that should be full of solder and connected to the heat sink pad on the bottom of the chip had no solder what so ever.So with literally no heat draining capabilities at all the chip cooked and is now trash.

Most people who have noise problems are using poor quality power supplies
Works perfectly. Extremely quiet and solid output power. I am using a 19VDC 3.45A supply. Most people who have noise problems are using poor quality power supplies. If you power supply is not well regulated and filtered all that noise will end up in the speaker output. Also if you want full 25W output per channel you need 24V supply if you use 12V like some mentioned on here do you will only 12.5W or so out. Buy with confidence just make sure you buy a power supply that is good quality, regulated and supplies at least 3A of current or more.

So far, very pleased
I bought this amplifier to install in a DIY ammo can boom box. It is small and compact but puts out more than enough power for two 4" speakers. I was pleasantly surprised at the sound quality. When using the bluetooth feature, there is a faint buzzing or humming noise when there is no music playing, but once the music starts, you can no longer hear the buzzing noise. Also, when the amplifier is powered-on, there is a very brief loud thump. For this reason, combined with the buzzing noise, I deducted one star. Otherwise, I am very happy with this device.I power this amplifier with a 12V 5A gel cell battery, and the battery life is amazing. I take it off the trickle charger and the voltage reads 13.1V. After 8 hours of continuous listening at moderate outdoor volume, the battery never dropped below 12.6V.

great sound - at least for the first few hours ...
Mine arrived yesterday and I could not wait to try it - It is a handsome circuitPaired with my iPhone real quick. It works as advertised, great sound - at least for the first few hoursI was not satisfied with the sound with the 3.5 in speakers I bought with it but was not ready to blame this ampTried with my old school big ass speakers and oh boy, it rocks with amazing 37Db gain - if your speakers are up to that!Something I REALLY dislike is the fact that when turned on, the speakers "crack" - That is a transient the designers overlook big time! Also, I do not like the "beep" whenever volume is adjusted from the bluetooth source - it does not happen with my other BT speakersThe enclosure is not like the one depicted - mine came up with translucid plastic when I was expecting nice transparent acrylic as shown - still OKFor the price, you can't expect THAT MUCH but if they just fixed those little items it would be a 5 star - word

Great little amp.
This is a great little amp. I bought this to power two outdoor speakers on my back screened porch. Never a problem connecting, the sound was always clear and plenty loud. This amp was a great addition to our backyard oasis this past summer. I only deducted a star because it was missing a button when it was delivered. Wasn't a big deal because the only buttons I use are power, volume up and down.

Pretty good but getting noise
I put this is an ammo box with some 4in car speakers. I like it except I am getting noise from what seems to be the bluetooth If the volume is loud enough I can't hear the noise and everything is great. Any ideas on what is causing this or how to remedy it? It happens when it is outside of the metal ammo box as well. If I can get the funny noises cleaned up this will be a 5 star.

Great Bluetooth Amp
AWESOME little Bluetooth amp. Very impressed with the volume it cam produce. Using it with a 12V wall plug, but found a 9V battery will work in a pinch and lower output. Trying to think of a reason to get another on.

Good
The overall product was good but the Bluetooth signal was horrible. It would cut off even for a change in the phones orientation from 5 meters away. But the sound quality is okay
