IDW Publishing Transformers: Drift - Empire of Stone

Io adoro Drift, l'ho adorato in Transformers 4: L'Era Dell'Estinzione e l'ho adorato anche in questo fumetto, in cui vediamo come co-protagonista Ratchet. Come trama mi ha ricordato molto Old Man Logan (ovvero un viaggio interiore del protagonista accompagnato dal co-protagonista), però ancora più coinvolgente. Un volume praticamente perfetto, recuperatelo!

I was expecting more from the art, but I was pleasantly surprised when Knockout and Grit appeared in the comic! That made my day.

The main attraction here is the art by Guido Guidi. The odd couple relationship between Drift and Ratchet is there but in somewhat stifled form, as readers of the Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye series will notice the absence of James Roberts' knack for dialogue. The script here is mediocre by comparison, but overall most Drift fans will enjoy the colorful characters and Guido Guidi's very nice artwork. A non-essential but fun diversion.
