It makes a great decoration for your office if you're a science teacher. It's fun to assemble. Very vibrant and colorful! Makes a great learning tool. Con: I wish the the pieces were labeled.

My friend loved it. I got it for her birthday. She's a microbiologist and she taught me about DNA using it. Her only wish was that it was labeled, but she said she could label it herself.

Easy to build!

I got this to help myself and other students in BI173 at my university.Pro's.Each piece is well made of soft but firm plastic. Not cheap plastic.Pieces fit together snuggly, and stay together.The pieces feel solid, and once connected fell like a solid piece.Instructions are clear and have a nice step by step.the model once complete displays well, and looks vary nice. not cheap looking.Con'sone point in the instructions could be worded more clearly, but it forces you to learn how DNA connects, but for a younger person may find it frustrating.a wooden base would class it up a great bit, but the plastic base is adequate.the parts should be labeled as to what portion of the DNA they are. like A, T.... but I'm just being super picky.

Great model for my students.Only thing I did not like was that the 2 strands are not antiparallel (sugars all go in the same direction...)
