5 Star Cot - Storage Bag is Not - Stars are for the Cot
The cot is 5 star in my opinion for my use in a building and the bag is a two star or less. This is replacing an older cot that required the bars that snap over the end rails at each end. Those end buttons were a very hard plastic that wore off. The cot is still in good shape but the end rails won't stay on. This cot doesn't have those 2 bars and is all one unit. (No parts to leave lying somewhere.) It is amazing how simple it is to set up. It's longer than my twin sheets and has plenty of room. Very comfortable. I purchased the ALPS Mountaineering Comfort Series Air Pad (X-Long) to go with it. It fits nicely just inside the side rails and is a few inches shorter than the cot. The cot folds up neatly with it's own carrying handle and cinch straps. My only complaint is the storage bag. It has a minor hole where a cot foot rubbed through and it arrived that way. The bag is too tight a fit for the cot. I'm virtually certain if it isn't handled very delicately the zipper will tear away and the feet will come through the ends. My stars are for the cot. It is excellent. I'm probably not going to have the bag very long.

Great cots if used with the cot pads!
I rate this three stars without the cot pads but five with.My husband and I have been tent camping for a little over 20 years. We use to sleep on a thick blanket but as age increased and back issues developed, the ground wasn't an option. We stared to use an air bed but it wasn't firm enough and my back would stiffen up at night to the point that I couln't got off the air bed without help and a lot of pain.We went to an RV show and decided we are not RV people. With an RV, we can't use tent only sites that are generally secluded and away from large areas with RVs relatively close to each other. We like to camp away from people. So I can contine to camp, we decided to try cots. We tried out cots in sporting goods stores and they seemed "ok". most seemed thin and some would wobble, as if the frame wasn't going to hold up. One store had an "oversized" cot that had thick material and a very sturdy frame. Since we camp often, we needed something that will hold up. I found these on Amazon and read alot of good reviews. They were also half the price as some oversized ones in box store. When they arrived we set them up in the house. They are easy to carry and set up. And they have extra stitching in areas that would be handled more or take extra use.The first camping trip was for three nights. The cots were pretty comfortable for the first couple hours. I woke up with pressure point pain in my hip. I moved to my back and woke again with pressure point pain. Next night I put another blanket on the cot and that helped, not perfect but better. I should also say that without anything between you and the cot, your heat will not keep the cot warm. It was 65 at night and we didn't stay warm without a blanket under us. I should also say that my husband doesn't have the back issues that I have. He slept better then I did, seemed more comfortable then I was but still had some (less then I had) pressure point discomfort.Even with all my back issues, I was more comfortable and wasn't stiff like I would have been with an air bed. I was convinced that the cat surface was just to hard to sleep on directly. We decided to get cot pads and couldn't find any that fit these cots in box stores. (I need to look on Amazon first, box stores second)I found the cot pads that go with these cots on Amazon and just bought them without reading reviews. The cot pads got tested on a week long camping trip to West Virginia. We went to bed and I tried to listen to the quiet, crackling fire and soft breeze. I'm not sure how long I was awake but the next thing I heard was the morning birds singing to the sun coming up.The cot pads made the difference!! I slept great, woke up near pain free (I always have some back pain no matter what), not stiff, cot didn't add pain and I can get on and off the cots without a problem. We had one cold, damp night but stayed very warm with the cot pad because it held in out heat. On one of our three day trips it was very warm. I thought that the cot pad would keep to much heat in and we would be to warm. But it didn't seem like it. The weather was such that we didn't need a blanket.

Easy to set up and sturdy, buckles are awful
This folds a lot like a camping chair. I had the other kind of cot with bars on the end, and that was too difficult. It's ample and plenty sturdy for me, a plus size woman, and should work for a tall man too. I haven't camped with it yet, but tested it in the yard. It's comfortable. I'm going to use a 2" memory foam topper on it. The width is great.I dislike the plastic buckles for the strap/handle that wraps around the whole thing and will replace them. They don't work. I would have to use pliers to open those things. How does a company even use such impossible to open buckles, I have to wonder. Nobody tested them?I'll update after I've camped with it.

A few helpful tips to make this a bit more of a comfortable experience
Works really well and is fairly supportive. I tried out other cots and this one felt the most sturdy to me and I weigh over 300 pounds. I also purchased the double oversized Kwik Cot that I ended up using (my husband used the single). You do seem to need to have something under you to help with the warmth. Even my husband, who runs hot and sleeps often without covers was wishing he had something thicker than the sleeping bag under him.A couple of suggestions to others considering this - first, the bag supplied seems a bit flimsy. Get a different one if you'd like but, so far, its held up; second, if you have difficulty exiting the cot (I kept getting leg cramps and trying to get up over the metal edge without setting off another cramp was challenging), consider pushing something underneath that you could either move or pull out to provide a supportive ledge to slide on to to then be able to sit up more straight and simply hop off (I use one of the shower benches rated for 400+ pounds because I could adjust the height and use it as a table at camp when not under me as I slept). I would think if you were light enough you could even use a plastic storage bin to function this way. Lastly, as others have said, be certain the measurements will fit in your tent or whatever other area you may be using the cot in. It is very long (nice to be able to stick clothes on for the next morning and it kept my pillow from sliding off because I had all of that extra room) and rather wide.

An oversized sturdy cot good for a big person
This is a great deal. An oversized cot for oversized people at a low price. It is sturdy and roomy for my 6'1" 290 pound body. It sets up and takes down in less than a minute. Folds up tightly and has a velcro strap to keep it all folded up nicely. Comes with a storage bag. Has pockets hanging from the side for things like a phone, and TV remote control.Update: I bought a second one and had it shipped to my mother's place before going to visit her for 2 weeks. It cost about the same price as a one night hotel room. I would set it up to sleep on in the front room and fold it up during the day. It is very sturdy, and fast to set up and break down.It is very comfortable and heavy duty. Now I have a place to sleep whenever I fly out to visit her.

Strong quality and great for tall people
Bought this for the cottage for extra sleeping and for us as we’re both tall. Great height to sit down on. Our feet almost dangle off of it. I haven’t slept on it yet but laying down on it feels comfortable. Was easy to assemble but not so easy to put back in the pouch afterwards. Although I did manage to get it back in without too much effort. Good quality and hope it’s comfortable to sleep on.

Sturdy
I'm 280lbs and this cot feels very sturdy when I sleep on it. Length of 7ft. is amazing and 33" width allows to roll over with ease.

Needs a beafier bag.
Appears sturdy. Zipper on bag was separated out of the box. Will see when put to test this hunting season.UPDATE: Have used it on multiple outings and it is still holding up. This cot sits high. If you have shorter legs they will be dangling when you sit on it. I am 6' 1" and weigh 220 lbs and for me it is perfect.
