Long lasting, very pigmented!
Won't stay purple, but will stay forever if that's what you want! Won't turn green.

Works well, more indigo than blue
I bought Sorcery along with a couple other colors (Fireball and Lemon), intending to mix shades and do rainbow hair, but it can be hard to get a good feel for color nuances online. Once I got started I realized this is way more of an indigo than a straight blue, and my attempt to make green was a disaster. It's not a flaw, but I wanted to put the information out there for anyone else who really likes to play around with color theory and reads 1000 reviews before picking colors. It does make a beautiful purple when mixed with Fireball.Sorcery did fade noticeably faster than the other colors, but that's true of most blues and purples. I also don't go to much special effort to preserve my color - I wash 3-4 times/week with a color safe shampoo and otherwise just abuse it. I'm usually a Punky Colour girl and all 3 Pulp Riot shades lack the shimmer and depth I'm used to, but the colors are really nice and bold and the squeezy tube is great when you're not looking to just dip a brush in a jar. They faded nicely to pastel tones rather than going weird like some other brands, both as packaged and mixed to make other shades. I don't think I'll buy Sorcery again, but I will buy Pulp Riot if they have a color that catches my eye.I'm including some fresh and faded photos for reference. I did mix Lemon with Arctic Fox aquamarine that I already had to make the green when Sorcery didn't work out, but everything else pictured is Pulp Riot. The second stripe from the left (between purple and green) is Sorcery without anything else mixed in. The first photo where it's actually styled is within a day of coloring, the middle mid-blow dry picture is 3 weeks later and shows the different colors well, and the third is after 5 1/2 weeks (but I think I washed with clarifying shampoo a couple times towards the end and that really sped up the fading).

The hombre look
Love that it shipped fast . The color is great . But not on the lighten hair came out lighter but the dark part came out the color . Kinda an hombre look to it .

Great color, minimal bleed time
I used this color to refresh my old blue hair coloring and give my hair a break from bleach. It turned my faded teal hair a very dark blue which was very pretty. This brand doesn’t bleed too much which is great!

Not the same color as described.
Doesn’t turn the color it advertises!!! Completely different color.

Do not like it
My stylist uses this brand and I wanted to refresh the color at home so I bought it here. I can say the colors and quality is the same as the one my stylist gets in the professional stores. 3 stars because the color availability is beautiful but it washes out in like 2-3 washes, does not really stay in my hair and color is patchy. I've used the red and green and is the same. I'll have to talk to my stylist about using another brand.

Best purple yet
I have dreadlocks that I've been dying teal and purple for years. I love Pulp Riot because it's not only gentle, it's conditioning. This is the first time I tried this particular purple. It is definitely the best. It both contrasts with the teal and blends with it; harmonizes it. This is my new purple for sure.

Great color payoff and true to shade that’s depicted
Very blue based purple. My first time using this brand , it does stain skin a lot but there was no staining the shower when rinsing it! (Which is shocking, last time I used a similar color from another brand it was staining everything I touched for weeks.) I did a split dye and was very careful to rinse separately , but both colors were this brand and they didn’t run together at all. Smells mild and nice, decent consistency although a little on the runny side. Hair didn’t feel overly dry or overly conditioned after rinsing. One warning, if you have thick/long hair buy multiple tubes. I used a whole tube on less than half my head of shoulder length hair. It just barely covered. Overall very pleased and will buy the brand again.
