Harry Potter - 30 Witches and Wizards

My son is going to love this deck! I highly recommend it! It arrived in perfect condition!

(This is for the 30 Witches and Wizards set.) This is a simple game and it doesn't take much to play it. You don't have to think too hard, either. I don't see it being something anyone would want to play on a regular basis, but for occasional play, it's a nice way to spend some time with others. It also helps to pass the time if boredom is there. Of course, I do think it will be enjoyed more by Harry Potter fans. Then, even when not playing, it's fun just to look through the cards. To play, someone deals the cards to the players face down. The players then pick up their cards, so only one card is visible. The player to the dealer's left starts and picks any stat on their card to call out. The other players call out that same stat and the best number gets all the cards, which then goes to the bottom of that person's stack. The winner of each round picks the next stat for the next round. The game ends when a player has all the cards, and they win. This can take awhile to play, so the directions have instructions for a quicker version, too, along with details about what to do if 2 players both have the best stat. Each card has the following stats: First year at Hogwarts, Wand Length, Family Tree, Fear Factor, and Top Trumps Rating. There's also a "Top Trumps File" at the side with some information about the person. The top half of each card has the name and a picture of the person. Some of them have symbols that are connected with that person, like what house they were in, their Patronus, what they can shapeshift into, etc.

We had other sets and decide to get the Harry Potter. Way too many unknown or NA to make it fun. Also, some of the categories and values don’t make sense.
