Made eggs cooking easy n perfect can’t complain.

I have purchased this egg cooker for myself to replace a different broken one that wore out. It has worked well for me, and I have purchased it in different colors for gifts. This is a kitchen convenience that you don't think you would use much, but you find that you use it often. I especially like that it will boil a dozen eggs at a time. I use it mostly for boiling eggs. The timer buzzer is a bit loud and annoying, but that has been the case for all the egg cookers I've had. For a dozen eggs, use 3.5 oz water. This will be approximately 20 minutes, but wait for the buzzer. Have a bowl of cold eater read. As soon as you hear the buzzer, turn it off and promptly put the eggs in the cold water to stop them cooking. This will help them be easy to peel. This is definitely worth the approximate $25 price, one of those gadgets you will be happy to have. It makes a good, unique, useful gift.

I bought the 12-capacity egg cooker on the recommendation of a friend, and hard-cooked a dozen eggs yesterday. It is a game-changer! Over the years, I’ve tried a bunch of methods for hard-cooked eggs and they have always turned out unevenly cooked and some with that unappealing grayish edge to the yolks. NOT THIS BATCH! The egg cooker (glad I bought the large one) gave me 12 beautiful, evenly-cooked eggs, and they peeled easily. I’m glad I have the larger size… this will be great for when I make deviled eggs. Since it steams the eggs, I simply set it up, turned it on, then prepped a different meal. The chime gives a pleasant sound. Cleanup was a breeze.
