I did no buy this because it is organic, but just the pasta is, nothing else. I don't know how the cup is made.The end product is delish junk food!

Because it can overflow, I dump in a bowl larger than the cup and add a little more water than it says and cook a little longer. This is particularly useful if you want to do TWO cups. A fairly deep cereal bowl, mix in the two cups, add the water and no overflowing.I like it because the taste, to me, is comparable to other mac and cheese in micro cups, but I like the ingredients better.THIS was a biggie for me. THE PACKAGING. I got in a box and the cartons weren't all together like most.That meant they got to me in GREAT shape. No open lids. No crushed cartons.I hope this is how they are always shipped because HOW I receive something is as important as how much I like a product.I will be ordering again. HANDY to keep on hand to add a bit of leftovers to, a quick lunch or snack. AND I really like I feel it's just HEALTHIER. I know what the ingredients mean without having to revert back to chemistry class.BOTTOMLINE: A handy staple to have, if you play around with how much water and nuke times.

I’ll start by saying, yes, this stuff tastes amazing. It is the best instant macaroni and cheese that I have tried.However, this stuff is a total mess. The water boils over the top nearly every time. I have tried putting less water in, reducing the cooking time, etc. and it does not help. The water boils over after only a minute or so of cooking no matter what you do. And this may not seem like that big of a deal, but the powder in the cup that mixes with the water turns the water into a thick sticky glue, so it’s a pain in the butt to clean up. It only takes 2 minutes to cook it, but then I have to spend another 4 minutes cleaning up the mess that it makes.If they could fix this issue, it would be perfect. But until then, the best I can give it is 3 stars.

Add water to line as indicated. Stir. Place cup in a small bowl (in case it boils over.) Place in microwave and cook for 1 minute. Remove and Stir well and cook for another 30 minutes. Remove from microwave and stir. Add cheese powder and stir well while powder is “ melting” into Mac. Hope this helps anyone having problems cooking Mac n cheese.

These are great fast Mac and cheese servings with fantastic ingredients compared to the competition. They taste great and are super easy to make just add water to line and stir real quick. They are also competitively priced which many Annie's products are not unfortunately. I add a little black pepper and its a perfect side or even meal. The only thing to watch out for is that if you have a powerful microwave it will boil over quickly and it creates a super sticky mess. So put power to 80 - 90% and split the time in half with a 10 second or so break in between. This will help you avoid the mess as well as putting down a paper towel or plate just in case.
