Worked flawlessly on a JLU, no modifications needed
Added this to my 2021 Wrangler JLU. No modifications were needed, no drilling or cutting like some others have said. It's pretty simple, measure these and cut to size, pull out the old ones, grab a pair of pliers, insert the new one as much as you can and grab the tip then pull it through. Took maybe 5 minutes total to install, didn't need to trim the tip to make it fit through the tailgate, didn't need to drill the tip to make it fit, etc. Tire sits securely against it now. For reference, I have 17x9, -12 offset with 4.5" backspacing and I had to cut about 1" off these still. They seem to be able to fit a wide range of sizes as a result of that.

Great product
Great product, glad I spent the few extra dollars over the cheap ones with bad reviews. I used these with 285 75 17 tires on factory 17" wheels on my wife's 2013 jk wrangler and they worked great for the spare tire. I also used a 1" wheel spacer as the tire was barely rubbing the bumper. These two things combined provided a perfect fit and a factory look and no modification to the 3rd brake light. It also keeps the weight closer to the tailgate compared to alot of other options which puts less stress on the hinges. These bump stops are a little bit tough to trim due to the high durability but can be done relatively easily with a razor knife or hack saw. Took me about 5 minutes to measure, trim, and install (excluding time to take off and reinstall the spare)

Difficult to install, but otherwise seem high quality.
I had to apply considerable force with a mallet to get these plugs through the mounting holes on the tailgate of my JL. Was worried I’d damage the panels. The good thing is they won’t accidentally fall out!

Great tailgate tire bump stops!
I actually bought two sets after resizing to larger spare tires. Easy to cut and make work for a bronco even though it’s created for a jeep. Would purchase again! Very sturdy and nice aesthetic.

Great Quality
I have Mickey Thompson rims on my 2019 Wrangler JL and the rim offset renders the stock spare tire bumpers useless. Ordered these and the quality is better than stock Mopar. I trimmed to size using a pointed Exacto knife to pierce the rubber, then I cut the circumference with a single edge razor. This will leave a jagged edge, however it was smoothed out easily with a Dremel sanding drum. Fit perfect, look perfect. Difficult to push through mounting hole, so I sanded down the diameter slightly and applied a light coat plumbers grease. Popped right in. Good product. Be careful not to cut too short. I went 1/4 inch over actual measurement from tire to tailgate.

Waste of time and money
Suck. Ordered these in Jan and had to replace again in December

Works on JL/JLU without modifications
Contrary to what others have said on here, you DO NOT need to modify to fit your JL or JLU. A little muscle, some dish soap and a tire thumper inside the bump stop while turning it so it doesn’t flex inwards. I’ll admit it’s not easy, but I got mine installed without modifying them. They’re good so far, sturdy and confident they’ll hold up.

Confirmed: Will fit JL
Whole process took just a few minutes. I am running 315/70/17 KO2's along with a RC relocation bracket and Red Rock reinforcement panel on a 2018 2dr JL Sport. I DID have to cut a little off the plug to make it fit but it wasnt a big deal and its still snug. I could have trimmed some of the overall length down but the bumper is juuuust the right stiffness to keep the tire snug and not cause damage. If I have to trim later, I will. CONS: Price. But I did my research and there are only 4 options as of the time Im writing this. 1.) The daystar ones for the JK (bad reviews across multiple sites) 2.) Trying to find MOPAR ones that come with their HD kit. I found a pair... for 100+ $, 3.) DIY with PVC pipes, hockey pucks, etc... 4.) These. I know its a jeep and I dont like overpaying for things but in this case, I feel it was money well spent.
