Does not even stick to it, falls simply off. Tried to us sand surface, did not help. DO NOT recommend for air mattress with fuzzy surface. **Q: would this work to fix patch a vinyl convertible top?** A: if applied correctly and on a clean surface, I have no doubt that it would work. I liked the product very much. **Q: would this work to patch a Polyethylene tarp? (slightly different material from vinyl)** A: I used the type B to repair my vinyl canopy cover. I have also used it to repair a tarp which I believe is made of poly. I don't recall what the type A product is used to repair and suggest investigating what it is used for first. It may be made for repairing poly. **Q: do you think this would work on a damaged area on a vinyl window frame?** A: I am not sure. I will cover a damaged area to help hold it together but if the window frame you are talking about is so old that it is cracking it might just buy you time. The tape is clear so if there are any gaps in the frame this will not fill them in.
