Awesome Headphones
Best headphones I’ve ever had & the app that goes with them so you can tailor the sound as you like it is genius. I haven’t been out & about with them on so can't say how well the noise cancellation actually works, but I have noticed when sound cancellation is on the music doesn’t sound quite as good.. for me it’s all about quality. So don’t think I will be using that feature much.. But you really don’t need sound cancellation on as the foam surrounds cut out a lot of external noise & once you have music playing, you are in your own world. Also the battery life is phenomenal.. I’ve had my headphones for about two weeks now and the battery level is at 80% Just be sure to fully charge before using them to ensure optimum battery life. Highly recommend.. you won’t be disappointed :))

Probably *the* best headphones I have ever had.
Pros: Sound quality. Just superb. Great dynamic range. Superb noise cancellation. Superb Bluetooth range. Easy to setup (make sure all your Bluetooth drivers are up to date) Comfortable fit, pads can rotate to adjust your ear shape. Great battery life. Cons: You need a smartphone to update the headphone's Bluetooth drivers. Top tip: Make sure your all Bluetooth drivers are up to date before you use the headphones as you may think the device is broken (like I did). Highly recommended for anyone who wants great sounding noise cancelling wireless headphones.

Good all-rounder
I primarily bought these for watching TV late at night and for that, they do a marvellous job. Pairing with the TV is straight-forward and the sound is both clean and warm. And more than comfortable enough for a 2hr movie. Pairing with my PC was also a breeze and listening to music proved to be a pleasure - perhaps not quite the same level of detail as my AKG's but I put that down to not being able to make any adjustments to the sound when connected via Bluetooth. I've not used the cable that comes with them but I'm sure that will do the job. Pairing with my phone was the easiest of all (just because phones are like that) and that does give a bit more control over the sound if you use the App (Sennheiser Smart Control) as that does have an equaliser. I've not used the built-in Mic yet but I didn't buy them for this so probably never will. The noise cancellation also seems fine but I can't reliably comment as so far I've not been in a noisy environment. So what about range? Well, certainly not in the 30m range unless you're in open air. Put a couple of normal brick walls between you and the broadcasting device and the sound breaks up. But stay within that and they remain very clear. If you're only connecting from your phone and keep it with you, you'll be quite happy. So, my overall rating of 4 stars rather than 5 is due to the controls. I found them a bit fiddly. Probably no more so than most Bluetooth headphones but I really feel that manufacturers should get this sorted. The only way I can be sure I'm hitting the right buttons is to take the headphones off and as most of the time I'm using them in dark or dimly lit areas, I have to shine my phone's torch to see what I'm doing. Maybe that's just me.

Perfect headphone for long plane journeys
Bought these headphones mostly for travelling to America. They’re comfy to wear, easily fold down for storage, and the noise cancellation is perfect for travel by plane or bus. The sound quality is also very good and the equaliser can be adjusted easily through the sennheiser app. The controls on the headphones are also very easy to use. My only issue with them is that there is no indication to let you know you’ve turned on the NC so you can accidentally have it on when just at home and not realise and run your battery down faster than if not. Aside from that though they’re very solid headphones for the price and I’d recommend them

Was impressed initially, less so now
I thought these were great to begin with. Connected up nice and easy straight away, sounded great, battery life was smashing. They worked so well I couldn’t fault them. That was a month ago. The past week/week and a half they’ve been awful. They will not connect to Bluetooth meaning I need to plug them in with an adapter to my devices in order to use them. They won’t turn off without running down the battery so they’re always dead and I’ve just got to a point where I cannot be bothered with the hassle. If you’re gonna use them wired then they’ll be fine, I’m not spending money on another adapter though. It’s so annoying cause I was really liking them but I can’t give them anything above a 1 cause they don’t work as they should do.

Bog-Standard Headphones with Lacklustre Noise Cancelation
Sennheiser headphone quality ranges from decent to good, with the HD 450BTs sitting firmly in the decent camp. Audio quality wise, they sound fine, with no change in EQ or volume with ANC activated that other lower priced ANC headphones such as Lindy and Taotronic fall victim to. Similar to other brands, however, the ANC isn't particularly great on these 'phones, either: while the hiss is easier to tune out unlike the aforementioned sets, the ANC can just about dampen any noise but never really eliminate it. You'll notice it when out and about, but hardly at all when sitting at home. Simultaneous connectivity to other devices can be irksome - regular reconnection is required and it's particularly irksome constantly being told you've lost connection to a device at home when you're out and about - but when it connects, it does so adequately. The headset comes with what seems to be the world's most sensitive microphone - participants in a Zoom meeting heard doors closing on the opposite side of my flat and don't even bother trying to use them on a call outside on a windy day. It's a nice extra, but not one to choose this set in particular for. Comfort-wise, the HD 450BTs aren't great for longer periods of use. Their leather pads that encapsulate your ears amplifies ambient ear sound, exacerbated if ANC isn't activated, and causes your ears to heat up. It's not a pleasant sensation having hot, sweaty ears after a walk on a hot day for a couple of hours. If you're looking for actual noise canceling headphones, pay the extra money and go for the Sony or Bose sets. If you're looking for high-quality audio, go for a wired set - my 7-year-old Shure cans have higher audio fidelity than these. If you're looking for set of wireless headphones with sound quality and ANC that's better than cheaper brands but still not fantastic, then the HD 450BTs are simply okay. And that's the best way to describe everything about these headphones: they're just okay.

Microphone works for calls and video-calls on mobile but not on PC
These are my first Sennheiser headphones. I would really like to love these headsets fully. They are very comfortable to wear, even if I wear glasses. I went for the white versione and they look awesome. Its Active Noise Cancellation performance is good though I found some unexpected glitches in the audio when I wear the headsets in a quiet place with ANC turned ON and without music playing in the ear. Though I should have waited a bit longer to give further review of the durability of the material and how easy it is to transport during business trips, I got to a halt as soon as I tried to connect these headsets to Microsoft Teams on my PCs (both a Microsoft PC and a MAC PC). The microphone of the headset, apparently, cannot connect to Teams, even if it gets recognised by the Settings within Teams, as soon as I make a call the connection to the mic cannot be established. I appreciate that these headsets are not specifically for the Office, but I bought these for an extra £60 over another pair of Stereo Headsets I was using, (which I was planning to give to my wife) from a cheaper brand, expecting to work, for voice calls, at least in a similar way. I thought the microphones in the headset were faulty, as I find some difficulty in discovering the headset mics also when using Audacity or any other recording facility on my MAC. However, I can use the headsets for voice call when they are connected to any of my phones via Bluetooth, and if I use Microsoft Teams on the phone or if I make classic phone calls over the 3G/4G mobile network. I will try to see whether there is anything else I can do to make these beautiful headsets WORK as headsets in a real case scenario - Especially now we are all stuck in lock down, we've got to have some comfortable devices to make phone calls with any video-conferencing facility. If I fail to solve it I will have to send the headset back. [EDIT - DEC20 - After sending them back, I had heard that Sennheiser had worked on a SW update - I bought the headphones again on black Friday, at a bargain £75, I think. They now work with MS-Teams on the PC]

Perfect over.ears for gym
I had many Wless headphones..1000xm4, bose qc 35, edifier, jabra, earbuds, powerbeats 4. Everyone of them sucked for gym, except jabra style. But they are on ear. I wanted some over ear headphones that sounds acceptable and dont fall off during bench presses. I read about plantronics 6100 but some reviewers talked about the bad quality. So i purchased these ones. Rest assured..they fit snuggly on the head..the only problem would be if you have big ears. Anc sucks..but i dont care. Sound is quite good, a step velow their own 280 pro .which is a great thing actually. So if you want headphones over ear for gy?, Have small or medium ears and dont mind the poor anc..they are the best buy. Period. Sony and bose fall off the head and these sound 75% of sony xm4. Great pair.
