My disks fit into a 2.5 inch slot. Not sure which specific drive you have. You may want to check the manufacturer’s website against the model number

That is false information. The SSD works without batteries. I see it also says Optical Drive Type = ‎BD-R. There is no Optical Drive needed or included.
