USB LED Strip Lights Kit, 4 Pre-Cut 1.64ft/6.56ft RGB with Remote

It looks great far better than without having LED Lighting. Comes with plenty of extra parts in case something gets lost or damaged and it fits really well around my Extended ATX Case (Not sure how it would look like on a smaller form factor). I was able to manage hiding all the wires and lights around my semi awkward old style Phanteks Case Design (Picture included).Pros:• Comes with four 50cm (19.7in) which is long enough to reach top to bottom of my extended ATX Case from Phanteks• Remote has lots of options and colors to choose from along with settings like brightness, strobe, fade, random colors fade, etcCons:• I ended up with 2 LEDs on different strips that wouldn't work but it didn't bother me nor is it noticeable.• Be careful pulling back the cover on the tape behind the LEDs, on mine I accidentally managed to pull the actual tape because they got stuck together• Tape behind the LEDs isn't as sticky and some parts tend to hang so I have to reinforce it with more tape• No way around having to unplug the LEDs from the control switch every time I open my case to work or swap parts.

I’ve purchased several LED kits like this, but this one is the best, hands down.Other kits I’ve seen are just one long continuous strip that wraps around the monitor and bulge up at the corners and never really work very well. This one comes with 4 separate stripes which are easily connected with the supplied hardware. They simply plug in. You can’t go wrong with this professional design. Even the mounting tape on the back of the strip is much better than others. It even comes with mounting brackets for the corner links. This is great! No mess when complete. Perfect, really!I simply plugged in the USB port to the Service USB on the back of my TV which insures an always on, no fuss power connection. No A/C adapter necessary.The supplied remote control works flawlessly with various color and strobe/fade/brightness modes. The instructions are easy to understand. But, the remote is so intuitive, you really don’t need the instructions.Hands down, the best LED lighting kit for a TV I’ve ever seen. Would purchase again in a heartbeat. Great price, too!

Overall I liked these. They were very bright and worked well. My one complaint mostly related to the connector type used between the strips. While I appreciate that they can be connected directly or jumpered providing greater flexibility this connection is not at all robust. I would like to see them incorporate a watertight (ie - automotive style or equivalent) micro snap connector with jumper cables to match. Doing this would make this one USB light strip a head above the competition. I would also like to see improvements to the usability of the remote. Colors are supposed to be tune-able and save-able but I had a difficult time using more than the preset colors. It would also be nice if they either stuck two strips together to get light on both sides or provided a way to easily accomplish this. While I understand that many people want only light on once side and are sticking to a flat surface sometimes you really want that 360 degree lighting (like when you are sticking these in something to achieve a certain glowing affect) and it would be nice if these could readily achieve this task. Additionally some diffusive material might be nice though I would be wary of overly affecting the brightness as these are some deal brighter than other light ropes I have used which was nice.

Very easy to use and cut to make a good fit for my project! I was pleasantly surprised by how good the adhesive on the back of the strips is. The lights are very bright and the remote works perfectly. Highly recommend for small projects!

I got these to use in a memorial jewelry box I’m making for my grandma. The lights worked great for about 3 hours and they were the exact brightness I was looking for. But around hour 3 of being plugged in, the lights turned from white to green entirely on their own before going out completely. I was using the remote to try to figure out the problem and I tried replacing the battery, that didn’t work. I don’t know how it happened, but I think the remote got reprogrammed somehow because the power button had absolutely no function anymore, but when I pressed the orange button, the strip would turn itself off. The only color that worked was green no matter what I pressed, and if I wanted to dim the lights I had to variate between the jump and auto buttons. Eventually the lights stopped working all together and the strip tore when I removed it from the jewelry box.

The product is fine and works as described. Just not as bright as I thought it would be. Just enough to luminate like the car interior ambiance lighting. So, fair warning.

What a great price, used these to give my room a bit of color, easy to install. Remote works fine, many many color combinations to choose from. Great ambience also, I love them, the USB power cord is short though, might have to buy an extension to plug them in.
