Yes4All Glute Ham Glider, Exercise Wheels for Home Gym Fitness, Glute Hamstring, Booty Building

This is such a good hamstring butt workout! I use this at my home gym in place of hamstring curls. It rolls smoothly in the floor, even over the little grooves in the floor mats. I’ve been using it for a while now and looking for ways to add more resistance, as my strength is building. I started putting a dumbbell on my hips to make it a little harder. Seems to do the job!

A nice cheap alternative to a seated hamstring curl

Hopefully by the time you read this the problem has been resolved. Because conceptually this is a great product at a great price. The problem, at least on the one I received, is that if you tighten the screws all the way the wheels don't turn. The instructions say to, "tighten and smoothen all screws." I know how to "tighten" screws. Based on my experience with the Yes4All Glute Ham Glider, "smoothen" means loosen. Since you have to loosen the screws to make them move. Or maybe there's something else that needs to happen. Until "smoothen" is clarified we may never know. Smoothen has two definitions in the dictionary 1. give (something) a flat, regular surface or appearance. 2. deal successfully with (a problem or difficulty). In this case, smoothen is a 2. When you tighten the screws the Glute Ham stops rolling. Which maybe be why this is a Glute Ham Glider, while other companies offer a Glute Ham Roller. Ice skates glide, while skateboards roll. I love Yes4All. My gym has more products from Yes4All than any company other than Rogue or Titan. But the wheels on this need to be fixed. Or maybe it just comes with the wrong screws. Maybe you got a good one, and only mine has bad screws. This product is a 5 if the wheels turn when the screws are tightened. If I have to loosen the screws to make the wheels turn, then something isn't right.

Bought this for my private personal training gym, This product worked great for a month or so. Then it started going sideways mid rep. And now one wheel just completely broke off. This may work better for a home gym where it’s only used seldomly, not good for commercial use. The roller itself is nice, but the wheels & barrings need to be upgraded.

I used the clamps as suggested in detail, on another review. This works perfectly and the wheels are not rubbing or turning. I have used other brands where the wheels eventually come loose and then a part is missing and that seems to so far be addressing that issue as well. I've now been using it for about a month. This is one of the few that has a loop attached for the cable machine and I love that as I am currently up to 35 lbs of resistance.

The overall product is a 2 out 5 stars build quality is ok but why this is only two stars is because of the cheap hardware that it comes with and matched with the build quality and you have a recipe for disaster the bolts that it comes with don’t work and the wheels that it comes with do not spin if tightened to tight and it tightened too loose it becomes crooked as a politician lol so to sum it all up would not recommend this cheap product

Solid quality construction including wheels. Added foam pipe insulation to one of the round bars to use as an elbow rest for using for ab workout. Great for rehabbing a ham string injury with resistance band attached to provide additional resistance.

I’m pretty challenged when it comes to assembling things, but this was simple to put together. And it works great! I’m a personal trainer and use this with my clients. They love/hate it. Very effective!

The item is sturdy and strong. The wheels are standard rollerblade wheels with bearings which work well. The problem is that the bolts do not work well, when tightened they lock up and when loosened to adjust become unstable. I hacked the wheels by buying decathalon spacer and bolts set for in line skates and replaced the axel and spacers . Works perfectly with the change. If you buy do consider making the change. Seller should include them in the product

Worth every cent.

Solid build. This thing’s a tank. The wheel axle could definitely be better but it wasn’t really an issue for me. I tossed the lock washers and used a single flat washer on each wheel instead (on wheel side between wheel & frame). Wheels run smoothly as long as you don’t tighten completely as instructed. Lock nuts don’t seem to be loosening. Of course I’ll upgrade to longer bolts if needed but so far so good. Buy this item especially if it’s on sale. Incredible piece of gear for hamstring curls and chest flyes.

love this product but am gutted at the same time ,,assemble this as guided and found out it wont roll so try loosing the bolts abit but then the wheel miss in line when you put presser on it ,,had to buy diffint bolts with washers just so a can use it

Way to go, sending a returned item that is either faulty assembled or maybe the wheels are just as bad, that they does not work at all.
