### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Makes the perfect sized rice balls

I had been making onigiri without a mold for a couple of years, and it was always such a chore, but I did it because I love them so much. I wish I had bought a mold sooner because this makes it 100 times easier. I think back on the many tutorial videos that said “you don’t need a mold to make onigiri.” That’s like saying you don’t need a tooth brush to brush your teeth. I guess you technically don’t, but you will to a significantly better job with it, and it will make the process so much faster and easier, it’s also less messy. How could these tutorials not mention that you get significantly less rice stuck to your hands with molds. Actually, you don’t even have to touch the rice with your hands at all with molds. Another issue I had before was that molds were to small. People claiming it’s “Japanese sized” yet I never see Japanese people with such small onigiri. This one however, is the perfect size in my opinion. Using one cup of rice (dried) and one can of tuna, I make 4 1/4 onigiri with this mold.
