Just make sure your Ethernet cables are properly working from both ends, and you’re good to go. Overall, a simple and reliable solution for extending network cables.After 4 days:After 4 days of fiddling with it, I’ve noticed that this RJ45 coupler isn’t reliable for long distances. While it may work occasionally, it’s very inconsistent-more of a hit-or-miss situation over longer cable runs.I tested it with a long Ethernet cable for a CCTV camera connected to a router, and it didn’t perform well. For short distances, it works fine, but as the cable length increases, the reliability drops significantly.If you need a stable connection over a longer distance, it’s better to lay a single continuous cable instead of using a coupler.
